This is a great three way switch from TPLink. It works so well with Google Home, Alexa and Tapo app. The installation is pretty straight forward and can be easily done. I would recommended to use one of the three way switch as smart and use the second one as a normal three way switch so you can save money as replace multiple switches. TPLink has a lot of videos online explaining the steps to replace the existing ones and also prefer to get a tester before you start the work. For installing the Hot wire or black one should go to the black screw. The other two wires could be red or white on the existing ones should be connected to the traveler port and the white neutral one that is typically not used in old switches is typically wired in the back so you will have to pull it out and connect to the white wire in the Three way smart switch. Once installed it looks great.
Love the price and the product
I have several of these. They install easily using there Kaza app. They need to be powered all the time so you need to have a neutral wire. Using the app you can schedule it to turn off and on
Very clear in-App wiring instructions. While sold in a pair, note that you can use with existing switches and spread this kit over two circuits. For example, I used 1 TP-Link smart switch downstairs and the 2nd for another circuit upstairs.
This smart switch generally works as advertised. I installed it in a home with several other smart switches from this company competing for WiFi recognition, and there was no problem. I'm able to control all the switches from the app or from the wall. One oddity - to retain wall control TP-Link advised me to leave the app control set to ON. Seems a bit odd but it works and I can turn the lights ON and OFF in this somewhat distant part of the house via the app. However the wall switches only control if the app is in the ON position. If you can live with this idiosyncracy it's adequate.
