Tires were high quality and the price was very low compared to other stores. Shipping was fast and earlier than expected. Took the tires and old tires and rims to Walmart auto and they mounted them for me FREE. Couldn't ask for a better overall deal!
This is a great deal for these tires. They fit perfectly on my John Deere lawn tractor. The original tires were 2 ply these are 4 ply. Made in china but what isn't now a days. One review complained they were crushed. That made it easier for me to mount them. I used liquid hand soap all around the tire and wheel they slide right on with the help of a bicycle tire tool and a large screwdriver. My only complaint is they charge $2.00 for tire recycling but they don't tell where to bring them?
Tires came in as promised however, most Walmart's do not mount lawnmower tires. The website had me schedule a date/time to install them but they said they normally do not do that. The quality of the tire is good.
When these tires are sold for $18.97 each delivered to the store they are a good value. The tires often are shipped mashed and out of round. I suggest paying the extra charge for the Walmart auto shop to install and inflate the tires for you. In that way you take home a wheel and tire ready to go on your mower.
The add photos show these tires already on rims. The tires look great and sturdy. I have not tried to have them mounted yet.
First, the shipping was horrible. Supposed to arrive in 3 days, NOT. How about a week or more later. But I do have to say that it's 99% FedEx fault, they're horrible. If I can avoid ordering from WM as long as they keep using FedEx, I will. The tires. They were ok, but for some reason they had lost their shape (center sunk in making the tires too narrow) this caused seating the beads very difficult.
These are good tires but the way they are packaged to ship makes it almost impossible for the average shopper to install them. They are collapsed and shrink wrapped. They are so out of shape it’s almost impossible to get them to hold air without a tire stretcher. Who has a tire stretcher? The local repair shop wants as much as they cost to install them and they’re 20 miles away. If you buy them, look at YouTube videos first explaining what you have to do to get them to work.
Make sure you read the fine print. Walmart shows a picture of a tire and wheel but it is tire only.
If they were not crushed and distorted beyond use, they would have been a great buy. It was overall a terrible experience as no tire shop not even Walmart could mount them. the beads were so distorted they would not pop with air on the machines. They were as someone else described them as looking like a pulley. You think someone at WM would read these and find out what is going on in the warehouse. There are other comments that state the same thing. Gave up on these and went to Northern tool. Bought theirs and no issues on installing, see pic attached on the WM parts
I had wanted the mower tire with the white rim as shown in your products but it came without the rim and the associate could not find the tire with a white rim.
