I am giving this product 5 stars because it is very effective! However, it tastes worse than horrible. I am a huge fan of liquid supplements and have had a few that have made me gag or nauseous, but none like this one, this one takes the cake for BAD! Definitely mix it with a little juice and shoot it asap, and then follow up with a bite of food to remove all traces of the taste. I will probably go with a capsule in the future to avoid the taste.
This seems to be a highly absorbable form of zinc, and it contains minerals needed either to balance out or complement zinc supplementation. I add it to my morning protein drink and have not had a problem with the taste, which I've heard needs to be masked. I have had some problems with other zinc products bothering my stomach but not this one. Thanks again, Swanson, for offering a great product at a reasonable price.
I almost have nothing to add to the previous review. At first I thought I wrote it haha. All I could add is the price is great, as all Swanson prices are.
The taste is very mineral tasting. Dropped in OJ drank then a chaser of OJ helps get this down. Make sure to take when your stomach is full or you will feel very ill. Does it work- not a clue! I take for immunity as well as a thyroid boost. I honestly have zero way of checking of its efficiency.
