TracFone Bring Your Own Phone SIM Activation Kit

I have always wanted a Samsung large screen phone but didn't want to pay the high monthly fees for the service from other companies well after hearing about this item from Tracfone I new it was just what I was looking for. I bought a Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 purchase the byop kit from Trackfone and rest was history this was very easy to use no problems what so every and best of all no monthly payments thanks to Tracfones bring your own phone sim kit great product.

If you are an existing TracFone customer moving from a TracFone GSM smartphone to a BYOP GSM smart phone, you won't need this kit -- just move your existing SIM card to your new BYOP GSM smart phone, and you are good to go. No need to activate. (You will still have to program some APN codes, but that is separate from activation) But if you are new customer to TracFone with a BYOP phone, or you are an existing customer moving from a TracFone CDMA phone to a BYOP CDMA 4G/LTE phone, then you will need this package. This kit contains all three sizes of SIM cards, and can activate two GSM BYOP smart phones for AT&T compatible phones (new or used), AND two CDMA BYOP smart phone for Verizon-compatible phones (used only), and includes only one Verizon Network Access Code ( NAC). TracFone BYOP Sim cards for T-Mobile or Sprint are NOT included in this kit.. The Standard/micro SIM card is the same card -- micro in a standard adapter. To use the micro size, just pop it out of the standard adapter. There are four SIM cards in this kit -- two GSM (std/micro and nano) and two CDMA (std/micro and nano) -- each with a different SIM card number. What you don't use in the kit, you could sell on eBay or Amazon, each for the price you paid for the entire kit.

Originally bought an AT&T go phone from Wal-Mart to put straight talk on it. That worked perfect. I then wanted to change to tracfone. I bought this BYOP kit, was on the phone for like 35 minutes with tracfone staff, they were able to transfer my minutes from another tracfone with ease. So now instead of a little cheap flip phone that could not get a signal anywhere in my home, I have my pretty decent Android that gets a really good signal anywhere now. Also, my Android phone was not unlocked. Just thought I'd share that. Good luck everyone.

This was an easy to use SIM upgrade to the Bring Your Own Phone (BYOP) program at TracFone. Easy to follow instructions. In no time at all I had my phone number ported over to the new SIM in my new unlocked smartphone. Now I get triple minutes, triple text and triple data. Win-win!

NOT offered at our local store -- though they do stock one that looks VERY similar to this but is MORE costly and does not offer the 3X option for talk, text & data. This IS a 3X card-(though not all tracfone offers will triple - look thru them). I used my BYOP TracFone SIM activation kit for a new UNLOCKED iphone 7 plus that could be used with any carrier. Wanted net access when I'm out and about at a reasonable price, as I can use Wi-Fi instead of data most of the time, but need data when I'm out and about. After checking around TracFone seemed the best deal, so I needed this SIM activation kit. -- I already use TracFone for my regular cell so I am use to pre-paying as I need with NO CONTRACTS! This was the best deal I found for my internet needs while on the go! I'm keeping my regular TracFone flip phone, and got a new number for the iphone. Compare plans like I did. I looked up how to pick and add the SIM Activation card on the common video site (not allowed to mention it) (this kit has 4 different cards in it - the video is helpful for picking the right one and showing how to load it (this is my first smart phone!). I highly recommend this SIM Activation Kit and setup for anyone planning to do what I'm doing with mine!!! Works Great and Very EASY to set up!!!

I added this to my phone and it was up and running within minutes. However, you MUST chat with an online representative if you want your minutes and number transferred from your old phone if you are using the "Bring Your Own Phone" method. Do this before trying to use the phone! The process took only ten minutes. Also, be sure to use the RIGHT SIM card!!! This package contains several, and by accident I gave the person on the chat line the number for the wrong card at first. After this was corrected, the phone was quickly activated.

If you have a safelink phone you can transfer your benefits to this byop sim card and use it in any unlocked smartphone. No lie!!! I did it. Also it will work in any AT&T smartphone even if it is not unlocked.

The same card sold at the store for $28.99 on line it was $6.99 what a difference. It was really easy to order, it arrived at the store fast and it was easy to pick up

nothing against Walmart. tracfone customer service sucks,it took a few days to get my phone right. Walmart gets 5 stars tracfone gets 2. I am happy to have my galaxy but hope I never have to call tracfone again.

I ordered the sim activation kit like a Tracfone rep told me to do to activate my US Cellular phone which she indicated would work but I needed to buy this kit. after receiving the kit I followed the instructions and then called Tracfone to move my service from my current LG Tracfone to my US cellular phone which had been deactivated from US Cellular service 5 months previous and which I had "unlocked" (supposedly) by a US Cellular company store a month prior to this. It was all downhill from there. The rep I got a hold of attempted to move service had problems doing it and ended up transferring my phone number (which I had for 10 yrs or longer) to Verizon and then tracfone said it couldn't be retrieved. He also remove over 1800 minutes that I had on the LG phone. After hours on the phone over a period of 3 days I finally got ahold of a supervisor that eventually put an approx amount of minutes back on my originial LG phone. Needless to say the kit didn't do me any good but probably not a problem of the kit, just a problem of Tracfone messing up things royaly. They had been good up to that point but very disappointed with tracfone, not Walmart.
