I'm a 73 year old who doesn't talk on a phone much, but this litlte gadget is my life line for energencies whiie driving, biking and walking. And it has all the features I need and want for convenience of internet searches and purchasing apps. Very fast and easy to use.
Replacement phone for my husband. Has many features he is still getting used to but he is happy with the larger screen and the camera will be great when he is out hiking. We are very happy all of his contacts and pictures transferred over from the other phone and the calls he makes/receives are clear, sound is good for his hearing impairment. A good phone, maybe has more features than older folks need but the internet works well also, something he uses when hiking for maps, directions, info on accommodations, etc.
I only had to try twice to transfer my contacts from my old phone, and I think that was because I had never done it on my own before. The letters are a little small for my shaky hands, so I have to use a stylus to text. The size is great. It is the largest phone I've ever had. I like being able to see what I am taking a picture of on my screen instead of hoping I have centered a picture of myself with my cat. I took my first "selfie" because of this feature. I needed technical assistance to find my features because my previous brand of phone showed everything on the home screen. On this phone, I have to run my finger up the home screen to get to my contacts, and to make calls, etc.
I have been a Tracfone customer for a very long time simply because their phones and service is trouble free and the price is fair and by far better than the competition. Samsung has been a trouble free phone for us and this one has tremendous battery life and is easy to use with many features the we are still exploring.
I wanted a bigger phone with more features so I upgraded from my old Samsung to the A11 and so far I'm very glad I did. I'm still getting acquainted with it as I've only had it a month but the smart switch transferred all my photos, contacts and other stuff flawlessly,,for my purposes, this A11seems to be perfect for me
I purchased this phone after my previous phone died, and so far, as pleased with it. I take a lot of pictures and videos during the day and the battery lasts all day. The phone has 3 cameras and takes pretty good photos and videos. I am still learning all the camera functions, but am enjoying using it. I like the large screen and ease of navigation with it. The fast charger that comes with it is awesome! The phone charges in no time at all and it seems to hold that charge for a long time. I find that the phone in general is easy to use and advanced enough for what I need and want.
We bought 3 of these phones in a 2 week period of time, one for each member of our household. Mine was great, no issues. I love it. The other 2 had bad sim cards that wouldn't allow the phone to register or be recognized on the network. Customer service helped us remove sim cards from our old phones and replace the ones in the new phones. One individual I spoke with said these phones have come with bad sims, there have been other complaints as well. Apparently a bad batch of sim cards. Otherwise we like the phones and features.
It was time for my Husband and I to replace our old J7's, we're not big cell phone users but, they were outdated beyond the few apps we were using. While the A11 has allowed us to use those apps again we're a little frustrated with ALL of the Samsung alerts....even after shutting off what we could....wish we didn't activate to begin with! And that "FREE" app is super annoying when you swipe the wrong way (even after adjusting options)! This phone was difficult to "wake up" using the side button so we changed to the "double tap".....now finding you sometime have to beat the heck out of the screen to wake up the phone. Other items that just don't work smoothly are the "screen rotate" and trying to answer calls. The battery life seems to be a little better. We got a great price but, we wouldn't buy again.
* Phone volume without speaker is extremely low. * Haft to hit power button to see anything, my old phone had a big time display & notices of new messages by simply moving the phone. * Notice of new text is very easy to miss unless you are right next to the phone. * Getting voicemail is a may button pushing affair. * Turned on answering a call by pressing 'up volume' key, now that is the ONLY WAY to answer a call (green answer button is turned off).
I bought this phone because I was told by an employee of Tracfone, that it had Wi Fi calling capabilities. It actually did not, so I returned it. It may be a great phone, but, I was miss informed, and it couldn't do what I purchased it for. So, I sent it back.
