[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a well made water resistant cover and in my opinion a must not matter where it resides on your property. The rain rolls right off it. It also keeps it clean, out off the sun and also keeps the electronics dry.
The cover is perfect, and fits nicely around our grill. It came tightly packaged and unfolded with no problem at all. The seams are tightly sewn and there are no loose strings or frayed ends. So far it has made it through a rain and wind storm and keeps our grill clean!
Incredible cover with an all weather feel that has quality craftsmanship. Traeger warranty is supreme as it appears that a portion of our cover had missed the threading on a seam. Traeger called my smart phone via video conference (front facing camera only) and had a discussion about the issue and resolved it promptly with a new delivery.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are getting an Ironwood 885 this grill cover is a must! It's fits perfectly so you don't have to worry about it blowing off but loose enough that it's not a struggle taking the cover on and off your grill!
After over a month waiting for this to ship, it finally arrived. I have to say the material looks very durable as it is thick. My grill isn't kept in the direct sunlight, but I'm sure this would hold up for several years in the sun. It does fit very snug too. No wind will blow this puppy off.
We live in Michigan and we get plenty of snow. So far the cover has done a great job keeping the grill protected. It's a little bit of a snug fit and a little challenging to get on when cold and frozen, but that's better than being loose fitting and potentially blowing off! Great product, I would recommend. Nice sturdy cover and should last a long time.
A heavy duty grill cover but very tight fitting. A zipper would be very helpful. Sometimes I opt not to use it as often as I should because of this. I have an older Traeger grill and the cover is very easy on and off as it has a full length zipper.
This is a good and well made cover the only problem is it is a little harder to place over the grill. The covers I have for the earlier Traeger grills had zippers in them for an easier install.
The cover fits to tight , almost every time I put it on my utensils fall off and the drip bucket has dropped 2 times in the short time I have owned it, and that makes a big mess on the deck. If It was wider it would be much easier to slide on and off, would not recommend this cover for the 650
Even after careful use/care, this cover becomes brittle and very difficult to both remove and recover. It continues to get stiffer & stiffer over time. We grill in the winter, too, and then its especially difficult to work with. It's actually made well & with good material, however, it should be made slighty looser to allow for the shrinkage.
