Traeger BAC627 Insulation Blanket for PRO 780 - Quantity 1

I've had mine for approximately five years. We live in central Manitoba. We cook our Christmas turkey on it every year. Temperature is usually -25c at that time of the year. Get raves for turkey every year

Was curious if this was going to work. Well it worked like a champ. Up in Northeast Ohio, that night we got with a snowstorm and winds at 30 miles an hour. Had two briskets on at 3 o'clock in the morning lo and behold everything kept temperature and not an issue.

I bought this insulation blanket for Christmas for my son in law who this past summer bought a smoker. He loved the blanket and he loves using his smoker. Was so glad I was able to get it in time for Christmas. The blanket is well made he said and will definitely protect his smoker this winter .

This is money well spent. We live in a climate where temps can fall to minus forty with wind chill. We wanted something to help us use our baby effectively during the winter months. This is it!!!! So glad I also am wife of the year again after this purchase. Enjoy smoking!!!!

Kept the grill within 3 degrees of set temperature while outside temps were below freezing. Well done.

I've had my blanket for mine about 2 yrs. it was the best add on I've purchased!!! I live in Elko NV, it gets -15 in the winter and 100 during the summer. The blanket is a year round benefit, reduction in pellets is noticeable. Definitely recommend it!!

Works great. We are in a cold environment, this helps us smoke all year around.

Won't waste time or money getting this product since it can't be used the entire cook time. Trauger, I have your solution. Upgrade materials to withstand 600+ degrees and straps made from same Kevlar high heat materials used in the fire service and industry like welding and foundry work. Add side sections that cover the side of the grill to retain heat properly. Make those changes and you'll have a product worthy to have your name on it. If I had the time and money I'd do it myself.
