Our Traeger Grill has been the best investment and Father's Day gift to myself. My wife has cooked 90% of our meals this summer on the grill. I have eaten more ribs and steaks too since our purchase. Highly recommend this grill to all our friends and family. I was first introduced to the grill by a friend. Checked it out and thought it was too expensive. This has been the best mistake I have ever made. Can't wait until this winter to see how she performs in the cold.
I bought this smoker for my husband from the Cowboy Christmas event in Las Vegas. First of all we loved the rep Jamieson. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. As for the grill, my husband absolutely loves it. We use it for New Years Eve. We had the best Tri-tip ....YUMMY. My husband loves your website and its very helpful.
I like the smoker/grill, I bought the front shelf for it and feel that it should come with it, and not be an accessory. I almost wish I'd spent the extra for the newer version with WiFi control. I figured this first gen is what made you famous, so it'll be good for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Go ahead and buy the 34...you'll be cooking for more people before you know it. All kidding aside the 22 is plenty big enough to cook 2-3 large butts on and with the rib rack accessory 5-6 racks of ribs if trimmed up right.
We love our Traeger! The first thing we cooked was a Tri-tip and it turned so perfect! The most juicy best Tri tip we’ve ever had! Everything we’ve made has come out perfect! I got this for my husband for Christmas and I’m so happy I did, he loves it! So does the whole family!
I overheard Dan Patrick talking about the Traeger grill and I am so happy that I took the plunge to purchase for my husband for father's day! We have not had a bad meal since... ribs, boston butt, chicken breasts, whole chickens- you name it- he's made it! He seems to have found the sweet spot and figured out how to use it pretty quickly. Yes, it is more expensive, but from what I've heard, Traegers last much longer than the cheap smokers from Walmart. I can't wait for football season!
This is our second one in 3 yrs. we love it but it does have flaws. We replaced the other one because it kept quitting. Now the new one is throwing codes? It does cook great when it works not sure worth the money though. First one should have lasted a long time.
I wish the directions on how to use the grill were more comprehensive. My first few experiences have not been the most pleasant ones. I'm learning by trial and error (which has resulted in a lot of wasted food).
I did extensive research on grills/smokers before buying for my husband. This one was pricey but worth it due to the amazing reviews. My husband assembled his only to discover we received one with a defective motor. Cannot comment on much else since we are forced to wait for replacement. Disappointed because i opted out of a lot of cheaper brands due to the reliability of the Traeger name.
Product arrived with a broken auger motor, which we will need to replace ourselves. It cannot be used until it arrives. There’s a scratch on the top which cannot be repaired. Hopefully the grill itself will live up to reviews once we are able to get it workinh
