I'm a few months from 70 years old and I just love this train set. Everything works as advertised. My 1 1/2 year old granddaughter is going to be so excited to watch the train moving on the track although she lives next to busy, live railroad tracks.

My 6yr old boy said, “this is the best birthday ever!”, after he opened this train set and it did not disappoint. He absolutely loves it! Highly recommend if you have a child that loves trains. It has a headlight, can produce steam, go forwards or backwards by remote control, and you can build the track in various ways.

We've had the train for about two weeks now and are really enjoying it. It's a good size, it has the smoke that I was wanting, the controller lets me control how fast or slow the train goes. My 1 1/2 year old loves to sit and watch the train go around the Christmas tree. The battery lasts a long time before I need to plug it back it. The first time I charged it I only charged it for 30 minutes and it lasted a couple days before needed to be charged. The price is a fair price for the train. I looked on Amazon, hobby lobby, Target, and even other Walmart trains and this one seems to be a winner for us.

I love this cute train so much. it's easy to assemble. it would be great to be around the Christmas tree. All parts were in the box with a few spares included. easy to get back in the box for storage. this is going to get a lot of attention during the Christmas season. I can't wait for December to come.

This train set is very simple to set up and the instructions were very helpful. Just a warning though make sure all of the wheels on all of the cars are on the inside of the tracks. If one wheel is off, the entire train will tip over or stop. Once it's all lined up, it's magical. The remote to the train is also a very fun feature. My son is going to be so excited to wake up to this on Christmas morning. The little details like, the steam coming out of the chimney, the whistle, and all of sounds it makes. You can adjust the speed also on the train remote, don't have it in full speed. The train doesn't do so well with the track switchers. They take corners very sharply. It was definitely worth the buy. You can also charge the battery to run the train or use two AA batteries. I just charged it and can and saved the batteries as a backup. Just have patience and it's a magical set and fun to set up. The town details like the people and the tunnel, hills and signs are all thick cardboard so don't expect actual solid for that. I used other things too, his gifts and other things to make it look more like a scene. Just helpful details that I as a buyer would want to know before purchasing. Enjoy!

The train set looks nice and set up easy but stopped working within about 30 minutes of use. Super cute. This is quite nice. Just what we needed, and no complaints given the price. The fact that it does produce steam through the chimney using just water is a nice touch.

I got this for my 2.5years old toddler. He really liked it. Every details is included with environment, train station etc. We really liked it but we don't use the smoke thing since it smells like a burning something.

This product is easy to install and easy to operate. The train works well on the track and tracks connects well. It is a great way to spend some time with the kids. In the manual, it also shows couple ways to arrange the tracks.

I bought this for my 9 year old grandson, to hopefully get his attention off games on the Internet..... he lost interest in this train within a half hour because it doesn't stay on the track. It doesn't make it around the track even once without coming off. Incredibly frustrating, for children as well as an adult.
