Yo.Yo.Yo.. Amazing I have rods/pins in my back and always in pain. In the past I have spent 60 on different wrap around heat packs etc. . I would have paid double/triple the price for this! It comes with 2 packs which can be separated into a hot/cold or two hots/colds whichever you decide. In the past, the issue with most is that they come with those pea size pads when heated/cooled to many times tear and leak. Not this...... I ended up buying the shoulder and rear neck one and looking forward to it's arrival tomorrow!Thanks,Dan

Magic Gel Ice Packs are great with or without the belt I use the gel packs for occipital headaches and tailbone pain. I rarely use the belt. But I imagine theyd be useful if you had lumbar joint pain. Use cold for joints and warm moist heat for muscles. I got 2 sets so I always have a cold pack ready to go.

Good product, lame colors This does a nice job of icing my lower back, and it stays in place and the ice packs last a reasonably long time. The colors are horrendous, and you look like some kind of aerobics class fruitcake when you are wearing it, and you kids will probably make fun of you. How about basic black? Would that be too much to ask? And why does one of the ice packs need to be pink? Its hard to be a tough guy with pink ice strapped around your waist. Color cost it a star.

Great Concept The ice packs are very very thin. So if you sit with this on your back for more than ten minutes they are melted. Also as someone else mentioned; if you are a plus size person the belt isn't long enough to go all the way around you. But I'm good at improvising so these work okay. Just wish they had a little more gel in them so they would last longer. And a few more inches on the belt strap would make it perfect.I wouldn't say this was really versatile as it really is shaped to your lumbar. But I suppose you could try using it elsewhere. That's the reason for only 3 stars on versatility.

Velcro fastener fades with use Perfect for back pain cold relief. Interior pack stays cold approximately 15-20 min. The cold pack holder has a Velcro wrap around strap, but the Velcro is on one side and attaches to fabric on the other. So the grip fails after repeated uses.

Provides relief I have brain and spinal cancer, so I am constantly in pain and sore. I usually prefer heat because my chemo messes with my body temperature and makes me cold. However, this summer has been exceptionally warm and the heating pads were just too much. So I needed to find some pain relief that I could sleep with, lay on my side, and still have the product around my body. This product is absolutely perfect for that. The wrap is able to be very snug, so the cold stay on my back at all times. The only problems I have is that 1) sometimes the ice pack can become too hard and will hurt if I lay my back up against something with it on. 2) It melts very quickly. The product will not stay cold for more than 20 mins, and then melts. I understand they made the ice pack with gel to hopefully make it softer and stay cooler -- longer. I don't know if there is anything that can be done to improve those small issues, but overall I am extremely happy with the purchase and use it daily! 2

Worth it! I hurt my back and was able to have the gel pack delivered that same night. I really like that it comes with two inserts so you always have one in the freezer. It is so nice to have the ice pack secured in place. If you have a large waist be sure to check the length measurement. Would buy again.

Fast way to numb back pain and inflammation This product is great and comfy to use. Ut definitely helps my backpain while on my feet all day at work. I'm glad it came with 2 gel packs. One I kept in the freezer and one I could warm up. However sadly after just a couple of uses the pack I kept frozen had a slow leak somehow and got all over the wrap, back of my shirt and chair I was sitting in. That was a bummer. Wish I still had 2 gel packs

There are some flaws I really like this belt. I bought in June of this year 2022. The velcro became weak. My daughter added some and it works good. This week one of the packs developed four holes in them and gel was coming out. Today I discovered the other ice pack is beginning to do the same thing. I did not poke them or anything. They seem to be holes that are part of the pack and they lost their strength. Now I see replacements are as much as the belt. A bit disappointed. I would look for something else if I were a customer again. 1

Great for warm and cold therapy This product is amazing for pregnancy and postpartum specifically (for me at least). The band goes around your waist and sits comfortably and snug on your lumbar area for pain relief. It also is great if you flip it around and put it on your lower abdomen warm for cramp and contraction discomfort. It works great for muscle pains as well. My only "complaint" would be I am a medium sized person and the band fits around me fine and stretches well but if you are on the larger side you would probably need an extender or it may not seal around you. 2
