reat product
the first time i ordered it I recieved an empty box fed-ex untapped the box and stole the antenna walmart was quick to correct the problem the antenna works great and being 6db it very powerful for such a small antenna it works as good as my 8 foot antenna

Satisfactorily serviceable
The Tram #1603 is an economical choice for a marine VHF antenna. Decent quality. It won't allow you to contact the international space station but combined with Uniden 25watt radio it's more than enough for my safe communications needs You might have to be creative in your mounting choices if you need to have a detachable antenna that won't get in the way when not in use. I mounted mine to a removable bracket, Crestliner sure mount bracket. Quality exceeds the modest price.

Works well, don't fall for the pic
Good antenna, easy to mount. Just know that the antenna is about 3' and not the short one in the pic. Other than that it is as advertised.

Order shipped to wrong address
On-line order shipped to billing address even though correct ship to address entered. Attempts to cancel or redirect order, even by WalMart, were ignored . Order “delivered” to home address not occupied over summer. Total disaster. Unlikely to ever order through WalMart again.
