I tried this mag Mount with 20 m and 40 m hamsticks and an 891 and everything worked fine. It's a good price for a solid product.

Solid magnetic antenna mount
Steel antenna mount has a thick rubber boot protecting paint surfaces. Procomm SuperFlex antenna matches perfectly on it.

Poorly constructed
The antenna base arrived undamaged however after I installed it and my firestik antenna my CB was having issues... the signal was weak as if there was no antenna at all along with very low volume. I decided to get the ohm meter and test continuity of the base cable. The meter was indicating the cable was open (as if it were cut). Since I was leaving to meet up with an RV caravan I had no choice but to open the magnet end and see if there was an issue I could fix. Yep there was an issue, the cable ends inside the base had no connectors (by design) just raw ends smashed to make continuity. The transmission wire was not toughing the antenna connection creating the open (cut cable effect). Even if I fixed it (and I did just to prove my point) a connection like this will create so much signal loss there was no way I would use it. I did get it to work then later stopped at a truck stop and bought a new one now the transmission and reception is much better. I suggest you buy a one from a known reputable company. I didn't know I could upload pictures here or I would have but it's dumpster food now. Happy trails.
