Tram Center Load Cb Antenna Kit

I purchased this CB antenna along with the Uniden Pro 505x. The antenna is very well built with a solid whip, loading coal, heavy duty magnetic mount, and thick premium coaxial cable. It has a standard male PL-259 connector. I wouldn't be surprised if the cable and PL-259 alone are worth the retail price. On a recent road trip, I received excellent signal reports, and did not experience any significant problems with long distance skip. I recently bought PL-259 to BNC adapters to use the antenna with several other radios. At this price, you can't go wrong.

I bought this to replace the original which was broken. This antenna performs better than the original.

The antenna is affordable and convenient, as the antenna cable and pl-259 connector are included as part of the kit.

the swr adjustment was super easy only two adjustments and had it balanced between 1 & 40 and channel 20 so it was perfect!! :)

THIS LITTLE ANTENNA IS A VERY WELL MADE FOR THE MONEY.. WHILE IT MAY NOT BE UP TO PAR FOR A OTR TRUCKER IT SHO NUFF GOOD NUFF FO ME .. IT IS SHORT SO IT WILL NOT INTERFERE WITH MY GARAGE DOOR WHEN SITTING ON MY 2013 PILOT.. THE SWR WILL ADJUST PERFECTLY TO THE POINT MY SWR METER BARELY MOVES AT ALL. THE MAGNET IS PLENTY STRONG SO IT WILL STAY IN PLACE IN ANY DRIVING CONDITION. IT IS RATED AT 200 WATTS SO IT WILL HANDLE SOME POWER.. I BOUGHT TWO MORE FOR OTHER APPLICATIONS..

Some cb radio antennas can get quite expensive. But if you are on a budget, and like to get the most out of every dollar, then this antenna is for you.

I needed this for an old CB. I only have the CB for emergencies. So, I didn't need anything that substantial. This fits the bill. I can easily pull it out and put it on top of the van whenever I need. It seems to work okay. I'm no expert though on CB reception and stuff. The only drawback I seen was that the top portion seems a tad thin. Like it could get bent easily. Not a major concern for me but I could see others being concerned. The only other thing I noticed was that the black tip on the top came off. Though, I'm not that sure it is even supposed to be on there. Underneath is a metal ball. I think the black tip was just for shipping purposes... even though the picture does show it on there. I'm not sure why anyone would want it on there though.

This is the only antenna I've tried so I couldn't say if it performs as well or better than others but it does perform. I can say that it looks good, the magnetic base works well and it has plenty of cord length.

CB isn't picking up a signal with this antenna. Also, drove under a small branch and the magnet didn't hold. The antenna fell into the back of the truck. Not recommended.
