I never would have thought to have insulated mixing bowls until I made merengue. If the bowl gets warm from my hands and the beaters then merengue won't fluff up. With the insulated bowls that wasn't an issue at all because it maintained the same temperature throughout. The bowls come in good sizes, ranging from 1.5 QT, 3 QT, and 5Qt. I used all three of them. the larger bowl I used to prepare my stuffing in, then I ashed it out and placed paper towels in it to serve the dinner rolls. I love these mixing bowls. I used them for all my Thanksgiving cooking and they were just perfect. For everything from mixing the stuffing ingredients to baking pies. I love them. They look heavy, but they aren't that heavy. They stack together really well. They look really nice. The 3 perfect sizes for any cooking job.

These mixing bowls are so much nicer than I expected! They are heavy and all of them are a great size! I love the added feature of having a double wall to help with condensation and keeping batter cool. They are also dishwasher save which is awesome!

I received the Tramontina 3 Pk Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls for an unbiased review and I am so pleased. I have found so many aspects I like about these mixing bowls. First off, they are made very well. They are stainless steel and weighted enough to stay put on the counter when in use, but they aren't heavy. They are double-wall insulated which means they should keep items cold or hot for some time, especially during prep time or cooking food, in order to prevent food-borne illnesses. You can just tell by feeling and using these bowls that they are made extremely well. They have a nice mirror polished look. I may prefer them to have a consistent finish, but I understand that this brand would want to add their mark (the black square with a T) to showcase and bring notice to their brand. I love the sizes this set come in. I was actually making something that needed mixed and the glass bowl I was using was too small. I grabbed the largest bowl of this Tramontina set and it worked perfect for a double batch of a casserole I was making. I really like the size and weight of each bowl. I hand washed the bowl I used because I hadn't read yet if they were dishwasher safe. The bowl washed up very easily. On a fantastic note, these are dishwasher-safe and have a lifetime warranty which is not surprising at all because they seem very high quality. I would highly recommend these. This set would be great for your own home or as a gift.

I'm gradually purging plastic and getting stainless steel and glass items for my kitchen. These mixing bowls are very well made pretty decent size and they look very think. They nest in each other. They come 3 in a pack, and i jave used them for serving food as well. And recived some complenent. They had double walls, and sides feel thick but empty. But they seem f5hey will hold long.
