Tramontina Primaware Non-stick Cookware Set, 10 Piece

The pot set is very nice, non stick is wonderful. Just enough pots for what I cook. This set is beautiful, I tell everyone about my new pot set, it was good to have treated myself to something I needed for myself. I kept putting it off. I Love my pot set!! My Christmas present to myself.

This is an excellent value for the pots and lids. I already had a pan from Tremontina that I liked and I decided to go ahead and get the full set. I'll be looking for the fry pan that matches with the lid. It's nice to have the lids clear so you can see what's boiling.

Love these pans , they are easy to clean, holds the right amount of heat and lids fit perfectly. Cleaning is so easy nothing sticks to the surface. Even the bottom of the pans are so easy to clean.

For my 20-plus years of cooking, the best comes Tramontina . This brand deserves alll 5 stars for their cooking dishes. I will save and definitely buy they high end line. thay are absolutely amazing!!!!

My household is down to one and I wanted smaller, lighter weight cookware to use. When I was young and raising a family, I used Salad Master for the superior quality and warranty. As arthritis set in, I switched to cast aluminum. Now, I am using mostly convenience foods that need little more than warming. To try this brand of cookware, I bought two sauce pans 3 years ago. I have been so pleased with those! I do not use high heat under the pans and never use a metal utensil or scratcher as nothing sticks, and clean up is a breeze. Just use the sprayer on the sink and wipe out with a paper towel. Granted, they are thin and light weight, but if treated properly and not abused, they will hold up for a long time.

I got this set for myself and subsequently for a friend who just moved into an apartment! For the cost (I paid $20 for mine and $40 for his) these pans are AMAZING! They handle everything we cook in them, and they are super light weight. Perfect for anybody starting out in a kitchen, and the nonstick has lasted perfectly even after a year of heavy use.

We've had a set of nice Revere Stainless Tri-Ply cookware for about 15 years. They look good but are so heavy and worst of all, so slow to heat up and cool down. Since getting this Tramontina set, we have put the Revere set in the closet. We have a ceramic cooktop and it is SO much better to use these Tramontina so you can control the heat - remove it from the burner and it cools quickly unlike the tri-ply with the heavy stainless over a thick copper disc which stays hot a long time. And water boils much faster in the pot. However - two things to consider. FIRST - when seasoning the pans (per manufacturer instructions), the large skillet buckled on the bottom and would no longer sit flat. I fixed that by doing a bit of cautious hammering on the inverted skillet on my workbench. This fixed it, apparently for good as it has not been a problem since. SECOND - not mentioned in the online description, but printed on the box in the cautionary "fine" print, none of these pieces are to be used in an oven. Or for High heat (frying?) on a cooktop. What? So this limits their usefulness and we will have to keep the Revereware for oven-roasting, etc.

Before using them I did what the instructions said to do , when I tried to fry eggs in a small frying pan, they stuck to the pan. So far the pots are working without sticking. If it was not for the small frying pan they would be OK If you look close you can see brown spots where it burned on the right side

The large pot and pan are smaller than normal size. The others are small too. The price is in line with the lower quality and smaller size. Ok for occasional cooking by a single or couple, but not for large family that wants to cook large everyday meals.

I'm sure I would like if the right set had been sent. I ordered Primeaware but got cheap aluminium Tramantina without any warrantee. i am very upset. Called CS to get the right set and was lied to by 2 different people Im not liking Walmart much today.
