What woman doesn't LOVE to get cookware for Christmas? Hmmmm, some might flinch a wee bit. Lucky for me, my Fab One is a really great cook. My once proud waistline keeps reminding of that! LOL Come birthdays and Christmas, she BEGS for anything kitchen related. Soooo, I knew what I had to do! Sure, I 'could' have spent several Benjamin Franklin's more for a 'Professional' quality cookware set. But I really have come to trust the products carried by Sam's Club. After a bit of stealthy questioning, unbeknownst to her, I developed a good idea of what she would be looking for in cookware. She owns a variety of cast iron pans, indispensable for certain cooking tasks. And she has some specialty cookware for other jobs. I kept coming back to this set as her all-round go-to everyday cooking set. And the price was right! I ordered the set in blue, to match the decor in the kitchen. I think 'decor' is a French word for 'Buy stuff that matches and looks real nice'... Christmas Day, 2021. SHE opens earrings, "Oh! These are nice". SHE opens her other presents with a favorable amount of flair, enthusiasm and gratitude. Then, SHE gets to the BIG BOX, within which ONLY I know the contents! SHE notes the BIG BOX is quite heavy. SHE gets that Ralphie, of A Christmas Story fame, opening the box with the BB Gun look on HER face... As her eyes spied the blueness within that BIG BOX I spied a look of joy overwhelming her! I thought she was gonna cry! Suffice it to say that her happiness made my happiness happy! Oh yeah! The cooking part? She LOVES cooking with this set! That ceramic coating is hands down better than any other non-stick coating she's tried, and we believe it'll hold up much better to the abuses of use, including cooking heat and the occasional mis-scrape. (I will state that you use less heat with these pans, too. The ceramic transfers the heat more evenly so less heat is needed than what you may be used to using). Overall, these pans COOK! SHE loves them and I love the dishes she has prepared WITH them!

The first set of pots that I actually took time to season as instructed and you should to if you want a nonstick surface. Also, no aerosol cooking sprays, ever! I normally cook on high to medium high heat but To maintain the integrity of the pots I now cook on medium high to medium heat. You will find the pots are light but very slightly weighted at the bottom and still feel substantial. I really enjoy cooking with them.

These pots and pans are great. The initial seasoning process was super simple to do. Cooking with them is a breeze and clean up is simple when any food residue just slides right off. Follow the instructions for maintaining them and these should last a long time. I love the bright colors too. I would rename the Teal color to a more Mint-like name though to better represent the actual color. The utensils are cute and work great as well.

I bought one set of the lavender color a year ago. Like them well enough to buy a 2nd set in another color.

I love my Ceramic pots and pans. I was worried about using them on my gas stove. They cook a little hot, but it cooks evenly and food doesn't stick.

I purchased these pans last month, if you have a family that cooks, I suggest buying a little higher grade of pans with a higher heat resistance, several of the handles have been burnt close to the pan due to the heat being a little to high. Other then that, I love these pans.

Only half of the set worked because the pots are too small for my cooktop. Also, the ones that worked don't cook evenly. Im disapponted with this purchase. I bought a set of tramontina made in USA a long time ago and I loved, that's why I decided to buy another one but I sadly found out it is now made in china and the quality is not the same.

So disappointed! I love the look of this cookware and have owned other pieces by Tramontina. But this line is definitely not non-stick. Even though I followed the instructions precisely and seasoned each piece before using them, every time I use a skillet, I am unable to remove the residue left on the surface and have fo try using Soft Scrub, which isn't always successful. This experience makes this cookware not fun to use.
