Transformers Generations Titans Return Leader Class Powermaster Optimus Prime and Autobot Apex

For nostalgia purposes alone a love this guy. Powermaster Prime from the 80's was my first optimus prime, so naturally I was going to pick him up. I paid the regular retail along with site to store (none of this over priced gouging that these third party sellers do on this site once walmart runs out). He feels nice and solid. I disagree with the cheapness feel that a previous reviewer mentioned. His chest is a bit odd looking but i get that they were going for a more modern update. Poseability can be limited but mainly due to the legs. You can still get some cool poses out of him though. Truck mode is both a great homage, and one problem i have with the figure. There is absolutely no reason why they couldnt have remolded the cab to look like a G1 optimus cab instead of reusing the cab from Ultra Magnus. It just looks odd to me. I'll be mainly keeping him in robot mode, so this is a minor gripe. I highly recommend this especially if you grew up with him in the 80's.

This Leader Class Prime is great for any collector. I was a little hesitant because of the extra pieces on the chest. But now that I have Optimus Prime I can say he looks good in scale with the rest of the Transformers Leader Class Figures. I bought this Optimus Prime to review on my YouTube channel Fred a Hall Direct Edition. I'm glad I picked this one up. Go and get him.

Heavy retool of the Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus figure. Transforms easily, though I found a few of the leg parts didn't tab so well without using a bit of force. Excellent playability. Great update of a G1 classic. Wait for Walmart to restock though. He's nice at their $44.97 price point, but not at the 3rd party's of $59.97!

My grandson liked this gift so much he hugged it!

Over all great quality, and a must own for any real transformers fan.

Bought it to collect will not open. But i have seen this toy open and it is excellent.

Im sorry but i love this optimus prime but its made so cheap i feel like im going to break it every time i try and transform it, and for the money i spent its really not worth it and keep in mind im a collector and love trans formers! The best ones so far are the combiner war toys and generation 30th anniversary toys!

I bought this for my 7 yr old son for Christmas. The directions to transform are a series of 20 illustrations of little detail. It took me an hour to change it into a truck for him following the directions. This is his 2nd transformer of this type. I think the ages should be 10 and up. It does look neat as it comes. I would leave it like that.

This was a gift for my son who is pretty experienced with transformers and how they work. While transforming the Optimus on Christmas Day following the included instructions a piece that was meant to be removed snapped and could not be re-attached. Very upsetting. The quality of transformers toys has declined steeply over the years. This made for a disappointing Christmas Day. We returned the item to Walmart as defective and they were great about it. He picked a different toy entirely when this had been the top of his Christmas list for months.
