I was always going to get this future because I’ve bought all the other Bee figures in the past. I will say that the size difference is noticeable. It’s widely known that transformers toys have been getting smaller, but with the Bumblebee figures I hadn’t noticed them feeling any smaller before. This one definitely does feel smaller but that’s not a bad thing. We now have a Deluxe Bumblebee figure that scales great with any Voyager Optimus Prime. In the past you’d have to get a Leader Class Prime for the correct scaling. The Smaller size does have an effect on the vehicle mode, however. It’s much more compact and that can cause some clearance issues, but it’s not to the point of ruining the figure. My only real complaint is that there is a slight lack of pin joints which can cause some panels to pop off easier than I would like. But it’s not that hard to pop them back on and if you take your time and learn how the figure works (which you should do with any transformer toy) then it’s very easy to work around. the robot mode is a great representation of how Bumblebee looked in the early scenes of the first movie and the vehicle mode greatly resembles the 1977/75 Camaro look both proportionally and in detail. The joints are really solid so you don’t have to worry about him falling over like the Last Knight deluxe.
Despite all the reviews that talk about the negatives of this figure.. I appreciate it being small, accurate, and designed perfect from it's cgi form.. that's all I expect.. the transformation is great in my book some folks have to be smarter than a action figur, I didn't have any falling off parts until I did something wrong with the figure. Great addition to my collection and totally appreciate the studio series line of Transformers
It's exactly how it is in the Bumblebee movie
I loved it I was happy to get it. Also it was fun to.
My 4 year old son LOVES this Bumblebee. I was worried it would be too advanced for him but the Transformer RescueBots are too "boring" for him, his words.
This figure does have flaws, such as a lack of paint in some areas and a fiddly transformation, but overall it's a pretty solid figure. The size makes sense in the overall scale of the line, and you can do the transformation without anything popping off if you're careful enough. My copy had nice and tight joints, and the sculpt work is immaculate. If you don't already own a deluxe Bumblebee yet, don't own the MPM version or don't mind owning two of the same character, pick this one up with confidence.
Although the head sculpt and the figure itself is beautiful and well put together, there are several issues involving notches and tabs. For example, the panel that is part of the windshield simply doesn't stay on for it is poorly made and even bends outwards. The feet don't always click in and will pop right back out, and putting the grill while covering to vehicle mode is a tough job, as I fear I'll break it. Otherwise it's fine, but it definetely needs a rework. I got one then even asked for a replacement and both had the windshield isssue, while my original figure has both the windshield and feet issue.
The transformation is intricate and some what challenging but the back panel keeps falling off and is extremely loose. It is very frustrating as during the last step of transforming to the car the roof keeps falling off. The quality needed to be better.
My son has a lot of Transformers and is very careful and meticulous when transforming them. He is very used to the various models that have many steps. The Studio Series Transformers look fantastic, but we have had both Optimus and Bumblebee and found them to be a huge disappointment for kids who want to play with them. The parts are very small and the joints are not secure, so limbs can easily fall off and break, even with the most delicate of efforts on the part of experienced parents. If you want your kid to end up with a broken toy and in tears these are a good use of your money ;) But if you're a collector then go for it...they look cool!
Your not able to transform this because the parts fall off and won't line back up
