Transformers Toys Vintage G1 Astrotrain Action Figure

The box and Astrotrain look very much like the original that I had as a box. The big difference concerning the box is that there was only English words, not Spanish as well. All in all, very satisfied with the purchase.

Excellent toy

There are a lot of different products that you can buy from curbside pickup and delivery. It is actually difficult to shop from other stores and retailers

Retail price at the store is 40 dollars, but so far it's selling for 50 online. Interesting that Walmart will up-price its own inventory, especially for people who don't have a Walmart near them. I got the last one at my local Walmart and like it a lot. It includes a little booklet that has instructions on how to transform it, and a foil sticker sheet so you decorate it. A big gun is included too. At first I thought this was pricey at 40 bucks, but upon opening it, I found that the front half is made of metal, like the Optimus Prime reissue, which is great for durability. I commend Hasbro for coming out with all of these Transformers G1 reissues so that middle-aged guys like me can relive our childhood.

Mine was still full retail in-store, which is $50. I've heard of various reports of this guy being around $40 in-store but I have not been so lucky. I feel like even at that price it is too much. He is built very well, but is pretty tiny and much smaller than Starscream, which was $35 and has dipped lower at times online. If he was priced at $30, I think it'd be perfect. Regardless of the price, I really enjoy him. I never had the original as a child. The purple is a little darker than the original from what I've seen of comparisons online, so be aware they have made some slight changes so you can tell the difference and not get scammed by someone trying to pass it off as the original. Despite the price, I highly recommend. Hopefully you can find it at a discount.

I had never ordered anything from Walmart online, but due to the circumstances we are during these times, I had no problem ordering, the package came in ahead of schedule it was perfectly packaged and my son loved his gift. Thank you, Walmart the price was great compared to other sites, and the availability was shocking because the store that carried the item was my local Walmart store

Looks great and just as described! Fast shipping

The figure is a cool reproduction of the OG G1 Astrotrain. Walmart shipping practices are a hit/miss at times (mostly miss) as they will likely send a collectible item inside a plastic (polymailer) bag instead of a box. To try and avoid this I ordered 2 (when it was on sale for half the price), thinking it has to be sent in a box, right? Well Walmart did it again... Shipped both of them in a plastic bag so of course they came severely damaged. What a hassle having to return but who wants to keep a collectible item with a box that looks like it has been stepped on and kicked around.

Walmart fulfillment decided that a pricey collectible should be sent to me in a plastic mailer bag. Results were as expected; arrived with the box smashed open so the pieces that were broken could fall out.

This is a great toy - if WalMart could figure out how to ship things properly. My package came in a flimsy bag, and the toys box was smashed, ripped, and looked like somebody had played soccer with it. A complete joke. The toy itself thankfully survived. But dont order anything from Walmart if you want it to arrive in even decent shape, or if you plan to give it as a gift. Completely unacceptable.
