These bifocal, progressive lens seem sturdier than others I've purchased. They're a great value if you wear readers. I was going through them quickly because of the on and off and/or dropping them. The progressive lens allows me to leave them on all day.

I debated for several days on whether to keep these. They fit well and are a great idea in theory, but you get what you pay for. Think I'll save up for a more expensive pair of progressive readers. I love being able to watch tv and do stuff on my phone without the constant on/off of readers, or wearing them on the tip of my nose like I'm 80 (because I'm not lol). But there's just too much distortion. I could get used to looking through a small area for close objects, but it's such a specific spot that if your head is turned slightly or even tilted slightly down you hit the transition area and everything is blurry. I had to look straight ahead and then hold my phone right against my body so I was looking almost as far down as my eyes could go. I'm afraid in the long run that eye strain is going to cause headaches and make my vision worse.
