EarPlanes to Keep Ears Clear After Flying

DrTandem June 15, 2016

I used to dread flying. Not because I was afraid to fly, but because after landing, my ears would stay plugged for two or three weeks. When you travel by jet, they pressurize the cabin so you can breath. However, they only pressurize it to the equivalent of about ten thousand feet. I live near sea level, so in just a few minutes of flight I go from almost zero altitude to ten thousand feet. No problem until we make our descent. My ears don't clear. Then I heard about EarPlanes. They are special ear plugs with tiny valves. I put them in before takeoff and remove them after landing. The first time I tried them I was shocked that for the first time after flying my ears were clear. My wife uses them now, too. She puts hers in after reaching altitude and then removes them after landing with the same results.

Wouldn't fly without these

anjlk March 20, 2014

I have cried on flights before, due to the ear pain of air pressure. I can't say these fix it 100% but they help DRAMATICALLY. They make them for kids/babies too and I wish parents whose kids/babies are miserable would buy them because everyone would be happier for it, but people just don't know about these, or don't understand the condition if they don't have it!

it works...buy it...you will be happy you did.

I have always had problems with flying and pressure in my ears...once my ears did not pop for 2 days because I got sick. another time my ears did not pop until we were walking to baggage claim and my equal Librium sent me staggering to the right when it finally did pop. Ear planes look like ear plugs, but trust me they are more than that, so don't think you can just use ear plugs...that does not work! Follow the directions on the package and you will be extremely happy with the results. I bought several packs because they work, worth every penny. recently flew to Italy from Ohio and back. They worked awesome, just a good product.

Used for driving, not for flying

savannahxrae June 24, 2016

I used these while driving through the mountains and they made a huge difference! The last time I drove through Colorado, I got an ear infection from the pressure buildup. This time? I was fine! I would 5 star them but I didn't use them for the intended purpose so I don't want people to get confused!

Does what expected

SuperSuze July 30, 2014

After an infection, I had fluid in my ear. My ENT doctor recommended these to use when landing during a recent plane trip. They worked just fine, and I didn't have to cancel a visit with grandchildren.

They Work

AAngiee August 16, 2013

These things are great! We don't travel without them. Every time I'm in the store they are always sold out. BUT, this time I bought them online from Walmart and they were shipped right away! : )

Best solution for painful ears from flying.

VBCFO July 3, 2014

We have been using this product for years, and used to order it from Magellan's. Then Magellan's stopped carrying the ten-pack. Wal-Mart has one of the two best prices for this product, and we got it fast!

Great product

Allan55 December 26, 2013

I flew with a cold and was quite skeptical that the product would work. I did take some cold medication as well but had a very smooth flight with no ear discomfort. Easy to use and worked great for me when taking off and especially when landing.

Perfect product

Flipper January 28, 2017

This is the only product that helps with my inner ear discomfort when flying. I would be lost without it.

They really work!

Idratherbegardening February 21, 2017

These are a must for flying. They eliminate that painful popping in your ears, better than chewing gum or other home remedies. The directions must be followed exactly, but that's a small price to pay.
