Untested But Looks Promising

SamoyedLover November 2, 2025

This bag is almost identical to the one we had before. It finally wore out after many trips (zipper problems). The material on this one appears somewhat thin. The durability of the zippers remains to be seen. We're taking it on a trip to Europe and hope it holds up. The double-compartment setup is very good for us although the lower compartment is not as big as the one in the previous bag (allows more room in the upper compartment).

Huge bag for the cost, and has Wheels!

Anonymous January 27, 2014

I been looking around for a new travel bag, some big and simple. This combines a handheld with a normal wheel'd luggage, total size of 36 inches tall. It has so much room. My previous handheld was only 24x12x12.5, and I was able to fit a weeks clothing in it, this allows me that, and much more clothes or side items to bring. It's design makes it easy to spot when it comes out of the luggage terminal at the airport as well!

Lots of space for the value

This is one of the best duffle bags I've found for the value after almost 2 months researching online and in stores. I love the split sections with a long section on the bottom for my folded clothes then I use the large top section for all other travel accessories (bathroom kit, cables, hats, etc.). The side pockets are large enough for 2 shoes on each side, which is great for trips requiring dress shoes and walking shoes. The quality / size / price is a great value and well worth the purchase.

definitely not a carry-on, perfect for long vacay.

SMQuick May 11, 2013

I was looking for a suitcase I could travel with this summer, something sizable (enough to fit 3 weeks of clothes for various types of weather) and easy to manage. The package came right on time. Its 3 feet long and has roomy side pockets so I can keep my clothing, liquids, and pills all separate from one another. The handle to pull the suitcase only extends about 8 inches but there is also a cloth handle you can pull with which I like. The zippers are very easy to use and each compartment holds plenty of clothing/items. I was expecting a sturdy, hardshell-like bottom compartment but the bottom is a soft, durable fabric like the rest of the duffle. I don't really mind this even though it's not what I expected, the malleable bottom offers size flexibility and is perfect for my shoes/coat. Overall, I love this suitcase. I was expecting something smaller, like a carry-on but I guess I should have paid more attention to the dimensions. However, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this value.

Tons of space, great price!

I LOVE this bag! I was a little nervous at first that it was so big that it would be considered oversized for check in on flights, but they actually made the measurements exactly the max a standard checked bag can be. It rolls nice and easy, looks nice, and it was cheaper at the Walmart site than other sites.

The one thing I disliked was the fact that I could not stand the bag on it's own. That was a real issue for me.

Bag is considered “oversized” for airline travel - had to check it at the oversized baggage counter with an extra fee. Also it does not stand up on its own when using pull out handle which makes it somewhat inconvenient. The quality is decent so I will use only to store items rather than a travel suitcase.

It held up for the flight. I was very concerned. The material is cheap and feels like it will tear easily with one poke.

Flimsy

Paul July 1, 2025

Like the bag for room and compartments, however, on the first trip for which I purchased it, the front compartment zipper broke, losing the contents and flapping open at the baggage claim.

Poor design

WrayKS1 September 6, 2014

The bag lasted exactly 1/2 hour before it ripped as it dragged on pavement. It will not hold any weight more than a few pounds. The wheels are not on an axle, but independently mounted and in a cardboard like frame which buckled when about 20 pounds was placed in the bag (and 20 pounds is not a lot especially for a large 36 inch bag), Thus the bottom end dragged on the ground. Had this been designed with axles where the bottom frame was also attached to those axles with a lightweight (aluminum) frame, this bag might have survived. Were it not for the fact that I had no option but to use it because of the length of my pool cues case which needed to fit in it (cannot be carried on a plane), I would have returned it. Right now it is junk never to be used again. Worst product I've bought online in a long time, but online you can't examine the construction to see the flaws. IMHO, Walmart needs to stop selling inferior products. I thought was getting a deal, but now that I have seen quality, I am not convinced that spending more would have got me a better product. And since you can't see this in-store, there is no way but to order and send back products after examining them.
