Travis Scott's second studio album lived up to the hype completely. His ability to mix dark tones and synths give the album a fantastically mysterious yet enjoyable listen. Although not a lyrical genius, Travis Scott is able to use his unique sound and incredible producing ability to produce a great album. If you are looking for darker songs, Beibs in the Trap and Goosebumps are perfect for you. If you are looking for more upbeat songs, Way Back and Pick Up the Phone have you covered. Features from Kendrick Lamar, Nav and Young Thug headline some of the hit songs on the album. Although many fans feel that his first album, Rodeo, was better, this was certainly a terrific sequel to one of the most decorated debut albums of all time. Travis Scott uses his second studio album to help solidify his role as one of hip-hops up and coming stars, while also making sure his sound is unique and associated with his music. He uses this album as a stepping stone for his third album Astroworld, which was one of the most anticipated albums of the past five years. All in all, the album is a great album, although maybe not his best work, it is essential in the Travis Scott discography.
