Works well as long as you have the other part in the car. We didn't realize it needed the part in the car to communicate with.

Easy to install and setup. Tool is included in box. Adds nice features to my r/c car setup like training mode. Also allows for telemetry sensors. The sensors can be purchased separately.

Without the Link Module your vehicle will only be half as good. It lets you adjust steering, brakes, throttle all from your phone, after you download the free app. The best part of this Link Module n the App is letting my grandson drive the Rustler, he is 3 years old, all you have to do is enter the training mode portion of the app, turn the knob on the transmitter n watch your phone screen to see how much throttle is going to be allowed, I let him drive at 15 percent, which make the Rustler travel at about 3 miles per hour, that way if he runs into something, or himself it doesn't hurt a thing, after he gets done, I switch it off, and I'm back to full speed, I had a small issue linking the truck to the transmitter, but thought, hey traxxas support, I called n they walked thru the binding process n using the App, problem solved. You can also use this Module to link several vehicle to 1 transmitter, then select them from the phone app, it retains settings for each vehicle, I liked it so well, I changed all my vehicle to traxxas receivers with the TSM system, it controls steering to keep the vehicle from loosing control in loose or slick conditions. To get the full advantage from this Module pair it with the TSM receiver you'll be amazed.

Easy to install works as expected. Connection to my phone never fails nor drops. Just make sure the vehicle you want to use this with is already setup to interface with this item. The X-Maxx is, but not all Traxass vehicles are.

Not bad. Worth the money. I also run the Castle Creations Link, which in my opinion is outstanding

It makes tuning my drag slash SO much easier than pushing buttons and making lights flash. Tha simple fact that you don't have to refer to a chart in the instructions and play telegraph operator is so much more convenient. The only down side is that to use any of the real-time telemetry functions(speed,temp.,etc.) you have to buy more sensors and electronics which are a bit costly.

Item had been difficult to find for my transmitter. I am still trying to determine how it interacts with the transmitter to provide telemetry. As of now, telemetry display does not function.
