Great niche item, works like a charm
Great niche item. Works like a charm, and arrived on schedule. I had a regular outlet in the bathroom that I needed to convert to a GFCI and also use a surge protector to protect my electric washlets. Some of my previous washlets were fried after power was restored in my neighborhood after a power failure. This saved me the trouble of hiring an electrician to convert my regular outlet to GFCI and then buying a surge protector.

Good one outlet surge protector
Needed something to kill power to a remote garage door opener when the power goes out and it works for that

Manual says not needed when plugging a Bidet in?
It's just what I needed, a temporary GFI plug. The Bidet I installed didn't show GFI as being needed, but common sense tells me it should be GFI just in case. Certainly don't need to get shocked.

pretty happy but with functionality questions
I picked this item because it was rated well, competitively priced and advertised as both a GFCI Plug and a Surge Protector in a small footprint. I am pretty confident with the GFCI claims but not being 'electrically informed' I am insecure in its ability to 'surge protect' as nowhere in its packaging or user manual are these terms used. It does not mean its not there using more techy words, only that I can not identify it, so I am not as secure in its ability to perform this function also.
