The Vanilla Lip Scrub Stick is exactly what I've been searching for to tackle dry lips. Every now and then, I struggle with dryness, but this lip scrub and hydrating chapstick combo truly delivers! It leaves my lips feeling buttery soft and perfectly moisturized, making them the ideal base for lipstick application.
I received this product, complimentary of tree hut, for review. I've used a lot of different lip scrubs in the past, but never liked the messy application process. This stick is perfect in every way! It's so easy to apply, adding just the right amount of scrub and polish. The scent and taste are also quite nice. There's no doubt that this will be a permanent addition to my lip routine.
I recently received the Vanilla Lip Scrub Stick for free and I'm honestly loving it! It's super easy to use—just swipe it on like a lip balm with zero mess. The texture is gentle but really effective, leaving my lips soft and smooth. Plus, the vanilla scent is light and pleasant.
It smells like a vanilla cupcake and makes my lips smooth like butter! The scrub factor in this balm is super helpful as I am battling very dry, cracked winter lips. It helps battle the dryness both when applying but then is also long lasting to help heal my lips. It's a must have in my bag!
When this lip scrub arrived I used it immediately. My lips were so chapped from the winter. After 2 uses my lips were soft and moisturized. I've never had a lip scrub work so well and so fast.
Firstly the scent is great and not overbearing. The application process is the best for lip scrubs I've had. The instant results it isn't really gritty. It isn't rough either. I wish it had a bit more to be honest but that's the only negative.
I was excited to try Tree Hut's Vanilla Sugar Lip Scrub since I love their body scrubs, but I found this formula to be quite different from what I expected. While it does have a pleasant vanilla scent and a smooth texture, I felt that the exfoliating granules were quite fine and less gritty than other lip scrubs I've used—especially compared to ColourPop's, which feels softer yet more exfoliating. The Tree Hut lip scrub feels more like a balm with light exfoliation rather than a true scrub that removes dry skin effectively. It's hydrating, which is nice, but if you're looking for a more intense exfoliation, this might not be the best option. However, if you prefer a gentler scrub that leaves behind a bit of moisture, it's a decent choice! Pros: ✔️ Nice vanilla scent ✔️ Hydrating, leaves lips soft ✔️ Gentle exfoliation (good for sensitive lips) Cons: ❌ Less gritty than expected ❌ Doesn't scrub as thoroughly as other brands Overall, I'd say this is better suited for daily maintenance rather than a deep exfoliation treatment. If you prefer a more textured scrub, you might want to try something like ColourPop's instead.
Firstly the scent is great and not overbearing. My lips were so chapped from the winter. After used this for few times, it leaves my lips feeling buttery soft and perfectly moisturized, making them the ideal base for lipstick application. I felt that the exfoliating granules were quite fine and less gritty than other lip scrubs I've used.
I received this product at no cost, in exchange for an honest review. I have some serious issues with chapped lips. I am always on the search for a way to hydrate them! I used this lip scrub, every night for a week. Pro's: -The smell was nice and wasn't too overpowering -I like the packaging, it comes in a tube like chapstick -It wasn't messy because of the packaging, just roll it on and wipe it off with a tissue. -Petroleum free Con's: -Although I didn't check what each ingredient was, there are many, most of which I can't pronounce - The presence of "Fragrance" in the ingredients list - It left my lips a little sore. Overall, I liked most the convenience of how it is applied. It helped some in removing dead skin on my lips, but by the next evening it had all returned. I will continue to use it for a little while longer to see if it helps more after longer use. The one thing that makes me think I won't buy it, is the presence of "Fragrance" in the ingredients. There is so much research out there that suggests this generic term is the cause of so many health concerns. I prefer to buy products that tell me what it is they use for fragrance. That said, it wouldn't bother me so much if I didn't have such sensitive skin.
I received the Vanilla Lip Scrub Stick from TreeHut in exchange for my honest review. My lips get parched and chapped during winter. I apply chapstick every night and sometimes multiple times a day. After a week of using the vanilla lip scrub stick, I noticed that my lips were less cracked and smoother. However, I would have liked them to feel a little more moisturized between applications. My biggest issue was that I felt that the stick was too hard. I know it's supposed to be exfoliating, but I had to apply so much pressure to apply anything on my lips that it became uncomfortable. I was hoping that after the first few applications it would soften, but this was not the case. Still, I liked the scent and feel of the scrub once it was applied.
