Simple plug and play utility. Just plug it in the USB port of your chromebook and plug in the Ethernet cable and your off. Didn't need the driver that came with it. For the price you can't beat it.

It worked seamlessly with Windows7, but didn't work with Mac.

I wanted a wired ether-net connection for a lap top computer that has WiFi but no ether-net jack. Streaming video works a lot better that way. This is one of those times when a wired connection is still nearly always better.

At college the wi-fi does not extend to my dorm but there is an ethernet jack in the room. My new computer is so thin that there is not enough height for an ethernet jack. I could have set-up my own wi-fi in the room but this option was much less costly at $20. It works great and solved my problem. Definitely recommend it.

Product works great easy plug and play device

The product seem to be sturdy, and it did what it was supposed to do well. All of these type adapters will take up space and be somewhat of an aggravation once connected.

My network card went out and I wasn't sure what to do. I was afraid a usb wouldn't work as well as an internal card. I found the trend net at Walmart decided to buy it. I hooked it up and it works like a charm. Just plug it in and it does the rest. Saved the day for me. And the price is very reasonable.

Worked well to connect a gaming system with USB port to our wired LAN. Much faster than the wi-fi. Easy set up.

For 16 bucks this USB to Ethernet dongle performs well. Setup on my Apple MacBook Pro was easy after downloading the driver from the Trend site. My only observation is that the cable between the USB and CAT5 connector is 4" long which is an awkward length, long enough to require a bunch of clearance but not long enough to bend without putting al lot of strain on the USB 3.0 connector. Not a fatal issue but something to consider.
