Tresemme Root Touch-Up, Temporary Light Brown Color Hairspray, 2.5 oz

I found this cover up spray but I'm using it to cover up my scalp as I have androgenic alopecia. It's easy to use and it did cover my scalp. I just set it with some hair spray. It easily washes off in the shower. While this is not a permanent fix to my condition, it will help win my confidence back.

Quick %26 easy. Not messy. it does come off on your hands a little it you mess with your hair but I don't usually have an issue as it's only my roots. I didn't think to do a before pic but I'm pretty grey up there usually.

TRESemme Temporary Hair Color Touch up is my favorite product to quickly cover my gray roots. It's easy to use, and it can easily be removed by simply washing your hair. The color stays on and the coverage is perfect. It is a must for me whenever I don't have time to color my hair. The price is very affordable too. I use this regularly while my hair is growing back in with my Rogaine. I just wish it didn’t dye my hands when I run my hands through my hair. It will also stain your pillows.

I like to use this spray to cover my grey’s. I noticed that the spray is a bit different than most grey cover sprays. I have never found a dry shampoo that I liked, but this stuff is helpful in that department as well! It does not dry-out my hair but it leaves it (dry-like) and most importantly Oil Free! So it could be used as a a dry shampoo. With this product my hair looks good for hours and hours! I’m a traveler so sometimes I’m on an airplane for over 15 hours. This spray helps my hair not to look oily or tired at the end of the day. It’s also important to cover up hairless spots. I have thinning hair. It makes my head-of-hair look fuller. I think this is great hair loss cover. Just lift hair and lightly spray in short spurts; for scalp cover. I’ve used all the most expensive brands of hair products and hair loss covers. With those powders; I’ve lost more hair, and the sprays are too obvious! It blends. It’s my “must have” for a day of travel or important event. Especially under the airplane or even stage/ camera lights! I don’t feel self conscious when I use this amazing product! I must have it everyday! If you haven’t tried please do and don’t be surprised at the quality and versatility of this product!

I liked the nozzle, there is a slim matchstick size piece that sticks out from the main square part under the lid of the product and due to the slender shape of this part you can be accurate in your aim. This product has virtually no smell, it does not stain the bed linen and it stays on your hair / scalp till it is washed away. It dries very fast. Full coverage . No mess. If you are using it around the front of your hairline i recommend you use a little vaseline on your forehead to protect your skin from taking on the color of the product.

This is awesome! I started worrying about if how often I was putting dye on my hair was damaging it, because every so many weeks, I’d have to do my roots again. I decided to give this a try. It’s become a phenomenal alternative for me! I can go a minimum of another 2 weeks before coloring my roots/hair again! I could go longer if I wanted to. Tips for applying - Do your edges first. Part your hair just using your finger or a comb in like 1-2” sections (depending on how thick your hair is.) I use my crown as the 1/2 way point. Touch up your roots going from front to back. If you want to be certain you got everything you can go through the same process working from left to right. By the time you get to your crown, you’ll have an idea of how this works. You should have no issue doing the back portion of your head using the same method. The first few times, I’d have my daughter double check to make sure I didn’t miss anything. It maybe takes 2-3 minutes to do my whole head. This works as an awesome alternative if you’re not wanting to put color on your hair/your roots as frequently. PS - Idk why I was thinking about these things, but just in case ANY of you guys had these thoughts - It doesn’t come off like on your pillow or shirt or anything.😁🤣😁 O snap- I also have a prime example of someone who might have the need to quickly and temporarily cover up some hair color. My niece dyed her hair with blue and purple streaks - the night before she had court for a speeding ticket.😳 My sister called me livid! I told my sister that we could use this spray.😁 It felt a little like an episode of I Love Lucy but it worked perfectly!😜💗

The color shows up for about 2–3 days with light brushing, though it will fade faster if you wash your hair or sleep roughly on it. For a temporary spray, that's solid performance. Suggestion to the brand for a travel-friendly version: ==================================== Please consider making a travel-size version that is: Sleek and slim – Think a flat, pen-like shape, not a round aerosol can - sth that would fit easily into a purse or pocket. It's carry-on friendly and easy to stash. Just in a more portable package. A sleek, travel-friendly design would make this a product for festivals, overnight trips, or on-the-go touch-ups.

Works well but it took along time to get my process right because the color comes out like a missile. I had to use mousse first then spray this and then rub it in together. Because if you don’t rub it in it leaves like spots of dark color on your scalp.

Have been using a competitor root touch-up that you paint on, so thought I would give this spray-on a try - but I won't be repurchasing. The spray itself comes out so forcefully that it's nearly impossible to control application to a specific area. I continually ended up with spray everywhere. When you get it where you want it the color is alright, but the chaotic spray made it not great.
