Will need to be washed out daily.
It does hold the curl for the day. But it will get frizzy. It's beautiful at first. It's not crunchy. But within a hour or so you start noticing it getting frizzy and the curls separating and it getting fuller…. which isn't terrible. The problem is…. as this happens it causes a white powdery cast over the hair if you look closely.

Not for natural curly hair. I've been using %234 gel for years and now I can't find it, so I tried %236 and it just made my hair gummy.

Would love it if it worked for me.
Unfortunately the gel did not work for my hair. My hair is now white and somewhat wiry. When I was younger with better hair, I needed a gel with alcohol to control a cowlick in my bangs. Now I know that I still do. This Tresemme gel is faintly and pleasantly scented and does not leave hair crunchy. I'll continue using Tresemme shampoo and conditioner.
