Packaged well for shipping. All components work. I actually don't know how the speakers sound because we hooked up some larger ones we had to it.

I was looking for an affordable alternative to being able to play my "antique" vinyl records. This system is perfect. One observation: The speakers are plug in types - not the old fashioned speaker wire setup.

It was a good omen to me when I saw that the box that the stereo came in was delivered in great condition! I've only had it for two days, and the turntable works great—my new albums sound as good as my CDs. The CD player works well, too. The speakers are small, so the volume is not tremendous, but for a personal bedroom, like mine, it works just fine! The remote is quite a downgrade from my last 25 year old remote. If you have many tracks on your CD that you want to skip through on the remote, the system will just not read it and you will not get to your desired track. This remote is very cheap and basic, so you have to remember that it can become temperamental and you just have to remember to “baby” it and not overwork it. The FM radio comes in clearly with the antenna provided, and I was glad that I could get and program all my stations. I have not tried the dual tape deck yet, although it is very hard to read the buttons as they are not marked on the actual buttons, but above them, which you really can't see. I guess I'll just have to memorize where everything is—I suppose it's ok as I don't really use the tape decks; I just wanted the option to do so. I just now tried the Bluetooth function with my iPhone and Pandora, and it is really easy to use and it works very well! Haven't tried the USB or the other card reader yet, but I will soon. The stereo also turns off automatically if not in use after a short period, like after I had left the room for awhile. All in all, I really miss my ol' Betsy stereo with the 3-tray CD changer, and the great remote—it was really built to last! I don't think this stereo will last all that long from the way it's made and from the looks of it, but I did happen to purchase Walmart's 3-year service plan/warranty, so I will have some good years! And, I may be in for a pleasant surprise! The reason I'm giving it a four star review is because of the remote issue and the overall quality of the system. But for what it is, for as long as I've had it, I will say that I am satisfied!

Poor sound from speakers

Only one speaker works with the turntable. The whole system is smaller than I expected it to be.

The CD player was not working properly and we have been trying to get a shipping label from unbeatable sale Inc for over a week and no label yet. We want a full refund!!

The volume is very, very low for someone with hearing issues even at 30 (the highest). The tape player and CD player both skipped awfully. I'm returning ASAP! Very disappointed!
