This is a gift. I haven't opened yet. Box is nice, but seemed a little expensive

This one feels tender. Breaking and restoring something so simple — a crayon — has an innocence to it. I can picture the colors, the smallness of it, the quiet gasp when it fuses back together. It's the kind of magic that reminds you why you fell in love with wonder in the first place. I can't wait to bring that little miracle to life between my fingers.

Well made prop. Comes with all needed to do straight out of box. Don't dismiss this as simply children's effect. It's visually pleasing and the visual retention is exceptional. Not an EDC but if you need a children's effect or an opener as part of a specifically themed set…this is ideal. I needed something like this to demo the “sawing stage illusion” for strolling magic. Well done.

I love it, and so do my kids. My only complaint is that a normal, unused crayon doesn't quite fit. A used crayon fits better, but it needs to be worn down first. I do appreciate that it came with backups. My children also enjoyed using it to change colors just for fun. Overall, it works well with well-used crayons, but making it just slightly bigger would be an improvement.

Beautifully made. What was old is now new again. Seems to be very good quality and updated. And the packaging is awesome if not completely over the top!

So quick and easy to learn. I showed my 8-year-old how to do it, and he loves it too. It's a great starter trick, and I can't wait to share it with my students.
