These wiper blades were fairly easy to install. They are well designed of high quality material. Rainy season is just starting here, so far the wiper blades have worked exceptionally well. They remove a large amount of water with just one swipe. They should be perfect for being able to drive in heavy south Florida thunderstorms. The rubber strips are very thick and high quality. Overall I am very happy with this item and recommend to others.
I have a hard time finding wipers that don't leave my windows with a streak in the middle. I have a mini van with two different size wipers. These high performance wiper blades leave me with a clear shield, even in a heavy downpour. They were easy to install and stay put as expected. Would definitely recommend.
My previous set of wipers was getting to be nearing their functional end. I was quite happy to get a chance to try these out and to see if they would work as well as my last ones. I can easily say these work at least as well as any blade on the market for my vehicle and they easily compare with some really expensive brands or the factory OEM set. The best thing you can say about something like wiper blades is that you didn't notice them working. That's the case here. There was no smearing or noise...they just quietly went about their business of wiping the rain off the window. Perfect.
TRICO wiper blades were the wrong size and could not put them to the windshield test. When I looked at my 2010 Civic blades and compared them to the TRICO wiper blades I noticed the blades and housing of blades are more similar looking than any wiper blades I ever saw with other brands and that's just one reason I gave 5 stars. Quality is also great. I am so impressed with these TRICO wiper blades I will purchase only this brand. Disappointed I could not test them out but now know if I do order blades I know what I get. Great wiper blades!!!!
TRICO Black High Performance Beam Wiper Blade Twin Pack come in various sizes and it is easy to find one that will fit a sedan or SUV depending on your needs. The wiper blade itself is made of the rubber that has been HighGlide treated. I am not sure what this treatment entails but it practice the material glides smoothly on the windshield without a drag or squeaking. Wipers come with easy to install clips that you snap into the position before installation. The installation itself can be tricky depending on your car. I had to study the instructions for some time before installing these on my 2014 Jaguar XF. With that said they are well made and high quality. The curve on these blades assures good contact with the windshield. I was able to test them in light snow and heavy rain and the performance matched any other wipers I have tried before. Based on the trial so far it appears that they are durable and can take tough weather. They work quietly and efficiently. They are designed to work with most car makes and models. Shipped with clade protector to avoid any defect that would affect their performance.
The # 1 complaint about wind shield wipers is removing the old ones and installing the new ones. Every car is different, however my car makes it easier than most. I first started my car and turned on the wipers. As they were in mid wipe, I turned my car off so the blades were easily accessible. I was able to slide off the old blades, and slide on the new Trico beam blades. It just happen to rain the over the next two days and I was able to see how effective they were. They did a great job of wiping away the water without streaking.
I live in a dry climate so l don't get to get a lot of use from windshield wipers. They usually crack from the dryness over a period of time. Because l've had this for such a short period, l can't review how they will hold up. I used them with wiper fluid and they cleaned without leaving marks or streaks, which l liked. They are easy to install.
I seem to constantly need new wiper blades (not exactly a shocker- I am not gentle on them). I was not super sure I needed wiper blades that could take 135 mph winds- but I was excited to try these! When they arrived, they did not look like the wiper blades I usually purchase (both packaging and the blades themselves). And then I saw the instructions and was not sure I would be able to install them! Lucky for me, Google gave me several options to watch installation videos! It was not horribly difficult! Instructions were good. They wipers are quiet (as advertised) which I really like. I have not yet had the chance to see if they are quiet and work well in 135 mph winds- but I do recommend these! They are very nice wipers blades; high quality and they seem like they will be durable and last a long time!
I got these blades and they came to small but I did try them out and liked them so I am going to go get me some that fit my van. They excellent blades high performance is beyond the word they work really well they have a smooth precise clean swipe. They're sturdy enterable and I think they're good to uphold the winter weather. Their high glade treated rubber for quiet and clean performance. They are made for high winds so heavy rain would be good for these wipers. For somebody that does a lot of Hwy driving and end up in the rain.
I have been purchasing and using Trico wiper blades for decades, my father has purchased and used them for over half a century. I remember the Red and White box they use to come in, if that tells you my age. LOL The 4 star rating is for the Trico mounting bracket, the worst and lacking of structural integrity I have ever had the pleasure of installing yet from Trico. You must use a pair of needle nose pliers to grab the hook, flip it over on the wiper arm where it attaches to, hook it around the wiper arm, and the entire time doing this you are thinking it will rip off, is it going to tear? Now I am wondering with the artic blast of sub-zero temps we just endured will these mounting brackets freeze and break off? I installed them on a Ford Explorer Police unit. I have to patrol and be out in this unit doesn't matter what the weather is. The latching mechanism needs to be more robust and allow installation as well as removal / change-out without tools. The Red Arrows indicate the area I am referring to, Minus the hooking arms everything else is great, easy for installation, and setting up for the different size arms. Next winter I am installing a set of Ice Blades, hopefully the installation hardware is better and tool-less for installation.
