I love how quickly this absorbs and how well it works! I'm 27 weeks pregnant and have used this since the very beginning on my boobs, belly, hips, and butt. Still no stretch marks! I go through more tubs than I thought I would, but I use it at least once a day (after the shower). LOVE IT!
So far, so good! I have a strong family gene of terrible stretch marks from pregnancy, so I was definitely nervous about how my skin would look when I first got pregnant. I started using the TriLASTIN stretch mark prevention cream around 26 weeks gestation to get a jump start on hydrating and preventing stretch marks. I now am 39 weeks and my skin is still stretchmark free! Everyone in my family has gotten their stretch marks around 35-37 weeks, and they were large bright red ones across their entire belly region. I think the key is to use a generous amount in the morning and at night/ after a shower. I put a thick coat of the cream on my belly area and let it sit for about 15-20 minutes before putting a shirt on to make sure it really soaks in and dries that way it doesn't rub off onto my clothes, thus, wasting the product. the only downfall is that it does get costly, being that I use so much of it on a daily basis. But totally worth the investment! I will be sure to make another post after I have the baby to see how my skin held up. But so far, excellent product!
I didn't start using this until about 22 weeks when my belly really started to grow. So far so good and I am not noticing any stretch marks. A little goes a long way, it's super light, and at the end of the day when I shower I can feel the product coming off so it definitely withstands clothes etc and stays on your skin! My belly is not itchy either. I've been using it on my breasts as well to help with itching. I am someone who does not like fragrance but the scent on this is not bothersome and fades quickly. I will update my review post Parfums with full results!
This cream is so velvety and smooth and is not sticky at all which has been a deal breaker for others I've tried. Not to mention it smells great which is very helpful for my super sensitive pregnancy nose. I'm 4.5 months along with my first and still not really showing but I can't help but think prevention is key so staying very hydrated from the beginning.
I love this cream, i've used it at least once to twice a day since I found out I was pregnant! It smells great, but not overpowering, it absorbs well and I love that I can use it without worry because I have sensitive skin. So far, no stretch marks… keeping my fingers crossed!
Smells great, and it's a nice thick lotion that leaves my skin feeling soft and nourished. Have been using since around week 7 of my pregnancy as I am prone to stretch marks and so far I have no additional to report! Will definitely keep using this! Oh and I have really sensitive skin and haven't had any issues with this product!
I loved this product! It wasn't sticky and rubbed in quickly, but it only lasted me about 2 weeks and I only used it once a day. They reccommend twice a day and that it should last a month. I wish these were bigger for the amount :/ it's a big investment for it only to last a couple weeks to keep up with (for 9 months) but if you can afford it, it's probably worth it!
I'm 15 weeks pregnant and have been using this cream for the last 3-4 weeks. So far so good! But it's still pretty early in the pregnancy to tell if I'll get any stretch marks. I give it 4 stars because the smell is not my favorite. But I only smell it when I put it on and don't smell it throughout the day. I would like to see some more options for smells and a bigger container or options for a bigger container. The container is smaller than I thought it'd be.
I love this product and think it not only saved me from stretch marks it also helps reduce the stretch marks I already had in my thighs. It is, however, not the most hydrating in the long-term. I would put it on Day & Night and by morning or the end of the day have dry flaky skin again. It also does not last a month, maybe 15 to 20 days if you are applying it to your boobs belly hips and thighs as directed twice a day. I found the best benefits to be when I mixed it with Palmer's Cocoa Butter stretch mark cream. Then, I would stay hydrated after each application and I think they work extremely well together ingredient wise. Either one alone did not feel as effective as mixed.
I ordered Trilastin with my first pregnancy and loved it. So lightweight and not sticky, smelled good. I ordered again for this pregnancy (about 5 years later) and it's still good but doesn't seem to be the same formula or scent? Overall it's still good and lightweight just not what I was expecting.
