Rusted and unusable in less than 4 months.
Don't waste your money! Wish I hadn't! Please look at my pics BEFORE you buy these... Purchased 2 Trimax THPXL to lock my trailer, y'know, with a lock that is specifically intended to lock trailers... and be exposed to the elements... on the outside of a trailer. Well, in just over 3 months, the one I used has rusted so bad that I can't get the key in or out or turn it anymore, and left a rust stain down the side of my new 2018 white trailer! Wrote Trimax directly, asking if I could return the locks. This was the response I got. "Thank you for using our locks. Due to the extremely harsh environment that the locks operate in, care and maintenance of the locks is of the utmost importance. Not only should the locks be regularly lubricated and cycled, but all components, must be cleaned and free from grit, salt and road grime to ensure trouble free operation, and an extended working life. With a little TLC, and cleaning with a steel brush any rust appearing can be removed. Our warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or rust. We are sorry we are unable to provide you with replacements, but would be happy to provide you with special discount pricing should you choose to purchase new locks." Seriously disappointed with this product, but moreso from the response I got and lack of customer service.

Trimax Locks RUST Do Not Buy!
I bought 4 of them. After a few months I need WD40 a hammer and a torch to unlock them. Contacted Trimax. They insist that the 'locks are fine'. And told me to lubricate them.
