I made a salmon Alfredo pasta and it turned out better than an Italian restaurant. The Alfredo was creamy and took only 4-5 minutes. Would totally buy again

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I wasn't sure how much 74 oz of alfredo sauce was, so I looked at what my jar of marinara sauce was in the fridge and it was 24 oz. So this bag of alfredo sauce will yield 3 ‘normal' jars. This alfredo sauce is very easy and convenient to make. It's also very yummy! I like that it comes with instructions on how to make smaller portions.

With that being said, I did find the flavor to be somewhat lacking, but I do like my food to have a stronger kick than most. Adding some extra spices made it better to me. I was interested to try Trio Alfredo Sauce Mix because my family likes chicken alfredo, but I only want to make once or twice a month. I prefer shelf stable mixes over jarred sauces because leftovers tend to get lost in the refrigerator after a day or two. Other sauce mixes don't have the depth of flavor we like. I enjoyed the taste of the Trio Alfredo Sauce Mix. The mix dissolved easily without lumps. However, I found the prepared sauce a little too thin. The instructions for the 2 cup portion were confusing to convert to volume measurement instead of by weight. I will definitely have to add more mix to the water next time.

This was easy to make and did not take very long. The only draw back can be overcome with a little work. The product made way too much sauce-probably enough for three large boxes of pasta when I was only making one.
