great bike for my toddler
I bought this for my 2 year old great grandson. He loved it ! I know the quality will keep it “flying” through his baby brother's first rides and longer!!
This bike is so well thought out. Radio Flyer sent us this trike and it's quickly become a family favorite. The versatility to go from a balance bike without wheels to a tricycle with wheels is unlike any other bike we have seen. This was intended for our 2.5 year old but our newly 5 year old is always begging for a turn too. It's been used every single day since we received it, and with warm weather on the horizon it doesn't seem like that will end. It was very easy to put together and did not take long at all. The bell was the perfect finishing touch. Our kids love to ring it and say “cookies are done!”
Radio Flyer provided me a free sample to test and try out. This is a fabulous little convertible tricycle. The engineers seem to have thought of everything. I love how the pedals store under the seat and how easily the back wheels transition from 2 to 1 with a simple click. Assembly took a quick 15 minutes. Durability seems great. This really feels like a toy that will last through multiple years and kids! The wheels are made of thick rubber, and the steering is agile yet safe for my one and a half year old while he uses the push-car mode. The seat is large, plush and adjustable! The only negative I can find is the cute little bell's ding-device is made of plastic that you must bend back to strike the bell which makes me wonder if it will hold up to long-term use. I hope so because it's a really fun accessory for the rider! Overall, I highly recommend!
Radio Flyer provided me with a free product to test and review. This trike is such a cool concept. I love that it will grow with my children since it can be ridden as a ride-on, tricycle, or a balance bike. My three-year-old and two-year-old love it. They have ridden it on concrete and gravel without any issues. My three-year-old's favorite way to ride it is as a tricycle. My two-year-old prefers to use it as a ride-on since she is still learning to use the petals. My three-year-old doesn't like using it as a balance bike, but I think she will enjoy it once she has more practice balancing with it. It is quick and easy to change modes and doesn't require any tools. When the petals aren't in use, they store inside the seat. It is well made and will last a long time. The frame is steel, but almost everything else is plastic. It was easy to assemble. It took less than 10 minutes. The only tool that's needed is an Allen wrench, but it was provided. I used the instructions, but I could have assembled without them. The instructions were illustrated and easy to follow.
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. My 1.5 year old loves this! We are currently using it as a three wheeler without the pedals. The seat is adjustable and the pedals can be stored away in the seat until you are ready to use them. This was easy to put together and when switching between modes, it is a simple click, no tools required! The tricycle is easy to use for my 1.5 year old. he was able to get on/off by himself. He did have a few slips at first with keeping the bike steady on the front end and he did fall. We have not used it as a glider yet or with the pedals, but this will be a great transition item to have for when he is ready.
It can be converted to a balance bike and is adjustable without having to use a tool. The pedals can be stored under the seat. Clever designs! I bought this for my 31 month old granddaughter but maybe her legs are still too short to enjoy it. She's not interested in riding it so far. The bell is hard to use for a toddler in my opinion but it's a good product overall. I missed the 30-day return window.
The bike was very well built and its 3 in 1, which is an added bonus
little hard to assemble
I bought this tricycle thinking the tires were rubber, so I was disappointed to see that they weren't. I don't think the listing clearly states that they aren't rubber tires. I read reviews beforehand which made me think they were rubber. I do love that it's a durable frame and that there is storage for the pedals. I just wish the tires were real rubber or that I could purchase additional rubber tires for this tricycle.
