Troy-Bilt 747cc Mustang Z50" Gas Zero-Turn Mower with Kohler Engine, 17BRFACQA66

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lawn mower rides and cuts good. Have no problem at this time had it about a Month. Had to learned how to adjust the steering control handles pit up own it quick. I recommend this mower to anyone who's looking for a Zero-Turn not expensibe, and cut well.

the seat is as good as it gets . There is no suspension on the rig. What do you expect for the price , plus, i don't believe in a suspension work horse. maneuvers just great also 3 blades for mower is just better then 2 blades. i have been working on Blackberry Bush, almost the height of the house. I just knock down the top portion to the ground, and it's about 18-24 inches on the ground, then i just mulch it with the mower works great. hard on my bare legs when some long strangles scrath up my bare legs need to make shield for front. Other then that, I'm very happy with it.

I recently purchased another Troy Built 50 inch cut zero turn mower with the Kohler engine at Walmart. I bought the exact same Troy Built Zero Turn mower in 2009. I mow about two acres each time I mow my yard, so it has cut a lot of grass. I have had no issues with my old one. It still runs and cuts great. When I saw Walmart had the same one on sale for $2249, I had to get another.

This is my first zero turn mower purchase. So far, I like everything about it. There was some adjustment period, using my hands to turn the mower, left or right, forward or reverse. But after one cutting, I got the hang of it. The only bad thing I have to say so far. Is that one the mower arrived? The crate it was packed in was it's destroyed, which made it very difficult for me to get them more. Out of the crate.

I got a really good deal on this at about $2400. I think it's good quality for that price. I would not pay any more than that for it as I suspect the quality of the parts are just average. I am satisfied with the mower on my 1.25 acres. I do have trouble with it sliding due to the wheels locking up when I let off of the throttle.

I rated this low because. it showed days late, and I have now worked all day trying to get it free from the pallet it came in. There is no need for this to ship like this. also some one put the wrong color caps on the battery post. had red on neg. and black on pos. now back to removing it from pallet...

When I got my mower, it was not in any kind of crate. It came with scratches all over it, and it wasn't in any kind of protective wrapping. This is a $3800 mower. I would think it would come in new condition. But it didn't, it looked like it was just thrown in the truck, without any care.

My mower was delivered broken. Had to turn it . They picked it up on April 9th. To replace it. And I haven't heard from when I will receive a replacement. So am not a happy customer.

Defective Kohler engine. Bad leak after 15 min, operation. Received 7/10/25; Received bar code 7/11 for return to store. Store manager in Atascocita,Tx REFUSED to honor return authorization. He states that the mower is too large. I called Customer service. Unable to speak with actual person. The recording tells me that Walmart WILL NOT HONOR the return window. ( I got the return code the next day after delivery) and there is no way Walmart will will allow any return. My only hope now is Troy-Bilt will honor their warranty. I may have been cheated out of $2433.46. I will file a complaint with Houston ,Tx BBB....but I doubt W/M management cares. I will try disputing the charge on my credit card, but that will be difficult. I'm 81 years old and this is the first time I have been defrauded by a major retailer. This is so sad...

Very dissatisfied with walmart.com. I ordered a lawnmower and it did not arrive on the date promised. I contacted walmart.com and they told me shipping was delayed. Give it 48 hours. I called after 48 hours and was told again that my lawnmower was on the way and after further investigation, I found out that the shipping had been canceled and no one notified me. If I had to reach out, I guess I would not have received my lawnmower or my refund.
