(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Very pleased with little tiller. I use it for cultivating between rows. It does a great job while being nimble. I wish it had a neutral to move it around when not running. The wheel pins are a bit of an inconvenience.
The Tiller did not come with any owners manual or instructions
I purchsed my Bronco CRT 2 Years ago at a Tractor Supply and had some issues with keeping it on a stright course while Tilling and traction was a problem at first. After a few passes with it I took a break to figure out why it was getting stuck and pulling to the left when it got traction. Guess what,, The tires were on backwards. The V treads on the tires should be facing front on both tires. If you have Tractoin or control problem, Check to make sure the tires are on properly. Once I reversed the tires I was off and running. I have a small landscape trailer and go around tilling for friends and family all spring long on the weekends. I love using the machine and wish my wife would let me till more of our one acre yard. But I bet if you have tractoin and or cantrol problems, your tires are backwards.
I just moved to NC from NY my yard is a mess and my garden is not ready yet i have a pony tiller i bought 20 years ago and its working to get my yard and garden in shape i love my tiller but is might be a little small for my new house, It did a great job in NY and my yard and garden was the best in the town. Thank you troy bilt for your help you have the best products.
had a pony years ago and sold it realized I needed another tiller and bought a bronco used it today for the first time, started on the first pull did an excellent job tilling, love the counter rotating tines wish it had reverse but have to get super bronco to get that don't know about durability yet but expect that to be fine
We bought a Troy-Bily Bronco tiller, and we are super pleased with the product. I thought it was odd that the times counter revolve, but I learned this is normal. We have a small farm and our garden is 75' x 75', and we will be using the tiller more and more as we approach planting season. Thanks for a great product!
I just bought this little tiller and thought to myself this might not work very good considering the hard time I had using a full size troy built that I borrowed to start my garden. So when I got it home I took it up to the garden to try it out and was amazed. I can not belive this little tiller works so good and finly chops the soil up. Then I decided to ty some new soil that has never been tilled and it broke it up better and easyier than the full size tiller. What a Buy, I love it.
3/08/14- just purchased this tiller and when I got home read a little manual. put oil and gas in it pulled crank about 5 times and it fired right up. So while it was running ( I had laid out a 20x20 area for my starter garden) locked in wheels (a little tricky at first ) and away I went, first pass was a little high and adjusted tines a little deeper on second pass .its not a problem for this tiller .I will let it set a few days ( to let roots die ) and then till it in the full depth . as of now I see NO PRPBLEMS WITH THIS LITTLE BEAST. will post more later after I have completed the garden.
Did not come with a owners manual, not able to locate a manual online
I purchased the bronco tiller in 2012. It started easy and ran well. you really have to hold on if you hit a hard spot or it will jump. The handle bars bent while my wife was using it and she weighs 120lbs. The pull string broke on my next use, and the handle bars bent again and cracked.I believe this is a manufacture defect and the new handle bars are almost half the cost of the tiller to replace. I am using again in 2013 and the handle bars broke and the pull rope again, but it does till well. This is not a product for someone who wants no trouble.
