Tough little unit

BillD March 5, 2024

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Very pleased with little tiller. I use it for cultivating between rows. It does a great job while being nimble. I wish it had a neutral to move it around when not running. The wheel pins are a bit of an inconvenience.

Our review of our garden tiller

Hobbyfarmer April 16, 2015

We bought a Troy-Bily Bronco tiller, and we are super pleased with the product. I thought it was odd that the times counter revolve, but I learned this is normal. We have a small farm and our garden is 75' x 75', and we will be using the tiller more and more as we approach planting season. Thanks for a great product!

worth the money

dgb68 July 23, 2013

Although this tiller is good for the initial turning of the soil, it is even more useful in tilling between rows several times during the year. It saves having to pull weeds and loosens the soil so it holds more moisture even late as the year drys out.

Great Tiller

stormone April 17, 2009

I don't quite understand some of the low ratings by others. I have a 820 square feet vegetable garden and have had no problems. I have expanded the garden over the past few years which met having to rototill the sod that was there a few times. I can rototill the entire garden in half an hour with no problem at the maximum depth of 6 inches so I don't no what the issue with that was with a few. Having the smaller width rototiller also has the advantage of cultivating between rows of veges after they have become established.

Tiller very good tires not so good

tbcgood May 28, 2016

I spent the first couple of days repairing flat tires. I put air in tires after unpacking and assembly as prescribed in manual. The first tire steam was cut into. Took to tire shop for repair tire shows as tubeless but has a tube. Tried repair tire as tubeless next day tire flat. Took back to shop had tube installed and turned steam to inside not outside. Then the other tire went flat same problem. I took back to tire shop new tube. Maybe a solid hard rubber tire would be better. Other than tire issue well pleased with tiller.

No Chains to Break or Wear Out

BirdsOfFire September 17, 2016

When I found out that this tiller and the Super Bronco had been designed with NO propeller chain or tiller chain, I was sold. My old tiller had a propeller chain and tiller chain that connected the transmission to the drive wheels and the tines. They didn't last me 5 years before the propeller chain broke. When I called the factory service tech and the local lawn mower repair shops, the verdict was unanimous. "Your tiller is now a 250 pound lawn ornament, because the cost to replace that chain is more than the cost of a new tiller." Troy-Bilt gives the original owner a lifetime warranty on the transmission. Whew!

MY LITTLE TILLER THAT COULD

goldwing March 7, 2014

3/08/14- just purchased this tiller and when I got home read a little manual. put oil and gas in it pulled crank about 5 times and it fired right up. So while it was running ( I had laid out a 20x20 area for my starter garden) locked in wheels (a little tricky at first ) and away I went, first pass was a little high and adjusted tines a little deeper on second pass .its not a problem for this tiller .I will let it set a few days ( to let roots die ) and then till it in the full depth . as of now I see NO PRPBLEMS WITH THIS LITTLE BEAST. will post more later after I have completed the garden.
