Had to return it once due to shipping damage but otherwise great value item (under $50).

Built like a tank!

Joe January 20, 2025

This thing is built like a tank, heavy duty and stable. I have no doubt that this thing will last longer than the structure it is attached to.

Extra heavy duty beast bar!

Colby August 29, 2023

Really solid construction! This thing weighs a ton so you know it's heavy duty. Was able to install it by myself but two people would be ideal. Would be nice if bar was gripped and not smooth but I put some grip tape over it. Happy with it. Paint finish is nice as well. Comes with all hardware for different substrates!

Heavy duty bar and solid when mounted in framing stud. The mount kit came with drywall anchors but I'm not sure I'd trust those with this bar. The only downside is only one side of the bar is anchored with a fastener. The other rattles slightly in the hole it fits in. I got this when it went on sale for $40 and at that price it's a steal.

Great value permament mount pull up bar, bombproof

DonD August 24, 2023

Bought this at a ridiculous clearance-like price. Built like a tank and heavy like one too. Mounted it about garage door for pull-up, chin-up workouts. Perfect. Wish it came with a paper template to locate screw holes, but made one out of cardboard instead, because this thing is h-e-a-v-y thick steel. Comes with all lag bolt %26 other nut bolt mounting hardware, partially assembled. Love it!

Amazing quality for the price

Ken August 31, 2023

It's *much* heavier than I thought it would be, though my experience has been limited to doorframe hanging and tension bar versions. This one is easily 30 lbs or at least it felt that way. So I figured that means once mounted it better be solid, and I was right! Just started using it but it's already a game changer for my workout routines. Some assembly required, but it comes partially assembled just to give an idea of how all the different bolts should be used, maybe also to allow for any fine tuning of the bar position, alignment with frame, etc. I definitely recommend fully assembling it before mounting, adjusting the bar is nigh impossible once it's on the wall. The mount plate area where the bolts go is raised, so not completely flush to allow room for the locking nuts, hence technically it can be done with a thin wrench behind the plate to hold the nuts in place while re/tightening, but who wants that headache?

Outstanding Bar

CC May 18, 2023

I had to ensure that it could carry my weight before ordering. Now, I have to install it on a load bearing wall to ensure that it work. I have not install it yet because the spouse wants to use it also. We are trying to agree on the room. But she excited 😜. That's a good thing. Good quality!

Solid home gym equipment

Milehigh April 24, 2023

Product is built like a tank. Weighs roughly 40lbs so a little cumbersome to install over head but doable with one person ideally two person install. The install instructions are alright just a picture diagram with numbers of each but and washer. I wish they gave you a template so you could line up and pre-drill a few screws would make install easier.

Haven't gotten to try it yet. Package heavy.

Ricardo September 6, 2023

Received it last week. Haven't even installed it yet but Walmart wants me to review it within 48hrs so here it goes: Shipping package is very heavy, cardboardy and rectangled. So let's just call it sturdy. It's weight assures me that if I don't install it correctly and it falls on me, I will surely not have a great time in the days after. So I'm looking for the best place to install it.
