Very good bench, solid cushion, removable declined situp attachment. Easily adjusts and feels solid. The bench had some minor scratches, but they were in unnoticable areas, such as the underside. The bench was slightly wobbly and I didn't like the feel, so I unscrewed the main hinge and moved one of the washers to stop the main cushion from wobbling. I got the bench because most other benches didn't have the declined situp or bench attachment. Another was that it came one day early.
Padding and features unbeatable at this price, easy to put together.
First of all, I just assembled it today, it seems solid, but it is not 143Ib, the FedEx shipping info mentioned that is it about 73lb, and when I lift it, it seems around that... The back hinges seem a bit tiny loose (might be the horrible shipping?), but the back itself seems solid. The box arrived damaged, ripped, and I found two washers out of the ripped box, and four washers and a screw nut were missing (Thankfully, I have extras). Even one of the brackets holding the back was a bit bend with paint chipped out (I had to hammer it a bit)... I attached pics, maybe others won't have the same experience So, all in all, I'm happy-ish with the bench, and I'm not sure what is the best way to ship it, maybe use a different carrier, or allow the customer to pick it up from the store? I order so many things online, and this is by far one of the worst experiences, I would think twice before ordering large/heavy items if shipped via FedEx Ground
The bench is sturdy and reliable. I mainly use it for ab workouts but it's been everything I could have asked for in a multi purpose bench. I read another review on here that said it's not worth paying its $700 MSRP so I waited til it went on sale (always low prices, amirite). My only complaints are the time it took me to assemble it and the box came to the house damaged (don't know if that's on WMT or the carrier), but it's worth checking out if it's within your budget.
It's pretty good for the money ($159 at the time of this review). The packaging was just awful though. Some welds were a little sloppy. Mine came with a small hole on the back of the pad, and some rust in the roller arm threads. There were several holes in the box, and everything was dusty. All that being said its very sturdy in all positions, the pad is firm, and vinyl is thick. If this were to cost as much as a Titan or Rep bench I would give it a pass but at that Rollback price it's plenty good.
The price was too good to pass up, but I really wish I did, but my wife likes it. I was not impressed with a few things... The vinyl fabric, is extremely thin, no way it will last. There were multiple paint chips, one I noted had rust. The instuctions were poor, but I really didn't have a problem following them. I did run into a problem with one of the washers, as it was defective, so the screw wouldn't go through. We did use it though and it works. I just think I expected more out a product with a higher MSRP, so instead of getting a deal, we more got what we had paid for.
Product is stable and as described. My issues are with some damage caused in transit. As seen in the picture, the box was damaged and pieces were sticking out so they got scuffed and damaged. As a result the leather part of the bench has a large indent.
Definitely not worth $700 MSRP. Very wobbly. Screws washers nuts came loose all over the box some got inside the bubble wrap and scratch the surfaces. Screw passes washer over 7MM with no caps. 3 inch gap between seat and back rest it's huge!! Padding is super cheap terrible quality worth less than $70 china branded bench. Only good thing I can say about it is that it is 18 inches high. Super cheap lining was stapled on be prepare to have to put parts in freezer before installation. Had to put leg holder rods in freezer before installation. The rod was a little bigger then hole it was suppose to go in. Got it on sale and it's definitely still not worth it. They really need to work on quality control and better designing 3 inch cap is unacceptable.
Pin for selecting different positions only works for a few positions. Would not recommend it unless you know how to weld so you can fix it.
The bench came all rusty, and Walmart didn't switch it for me. Disappointed.
