Trucker CB Radio

A lot of people don't know that Uniden made all the Cobras that built the reputation. Take an old Cobra apart, and the pc board says 'Uniden.' The old Cobras were good because Uniden built them! Cobra parted ways with Uniden and are now junk, living off their name. This radio has no useless extra knobs like the full size models do. You will need to buy an SWR meter or borrow one. A separate meter is far more accurate, anyway. This is the true classic trucker radio. Easy to operate the knobs, and they lend themselves to memorizing location. No funky menus or nonsense, this radio just gets the job done. Cobra is a brand name stuck on a cheap radio made in a no name factory. This is a real Uniden radio! They change model names, but this is essentially identical to my 16 year old Uniden PC 68 that will eat any Cobra junk. If you must have a built in SWR meter, try the model 78.

Great radio out of the box mine was pretty much spot on with the tune It has a very good receiver if you have a quiet set up it has an awesome receiver there could have been some attention put into this area of the radio to lower the noise floor but it is a sub $100 radio so it is what it is Also this radio is just under den size in it's width and just barely longer than din size in length
