Its hard to top the original, with the "Duke". But the cast i feel dis a very good job in recreating this for a new generation.

Got it for my husband for anniversary,,,,we had seen at theater and we liked it so well I made a perfect present after 47 years married, good girl movie also has good story for women also,,,So a big thank you Walmart for this incredable purchase,, for $10.00 well worth the entertainment..

Wonderful movie
This is a great movie if your a big western fan like I am this is one film you don't want to miss. Jeff Bridges performance is Oscar worthy and so is Josh Brolin's performance. Plenty of action and beautiful country. This is one movie you want in your library 5 stars!

Jeff Bridges Awesome!!!
Jeff Bridges was so good in this film. He should have gotten the Oscar. He was so mean and "gritty," but you believed by the end he had a heart. It was truly good.

A better version than the first film!
The movie itself is a better version than the one that garnered John Wayne his Oscar. It is more true to the original story. Mechanically it failed to play in my Blu Ray player as every other DVD I own--numerous--do!! Fortunately, I also have a VHS convert to DVD player and was able to play the movie in that DVD player. That was a big disappointment as all other DVD play in a BluRay player!!
