Organic, fresh smell and taste. I added a few to my green tea , so delicious, great for digestion. As a room freshener I boiled a teaspoon full with a sliced apple. I looked all over for a large amount of cloves. Not only for consumption but also for bug and mouse repellent. It really works for both. The cloves are fresh and came within a good time.
