Open the bag and it smells amazing. I had to make myself a cup of coffee shave a little in I am totally in my relaxation spot. Fresh and nice, large pieces. I love to use nutmeg in all kinds of drinks and dishes. It is so much fresher to shave your own than to buy it already done in a jar. It's a must try.

While whole nutmeg is never as convenient as ground nutmeg, the substantial improvement in flavor definitely makes up for the inconvenience. Thankfully, True Organic delivers a high quality organic spice at an incredibly reasonable price. Because it's intact, it is quite a bit more pungent than ground nutmeg, which means that you don't need to use as much while still getting a more intense flavor. I highly recommend!

This nutmeg is surprisingly good. I used it to make a nutmeg and cinnamon coffee cake. Yum. I was not exppecting the quality for the price point. Easily grated and fragrant..as the coffee cake baked my house was filled with the scent of nutmeg. If you've never used whole nutmeg you owe it to yourself to try it. The flavor is so much better and out lasts the powder in a jar. Try a dash in your chili or stew. Add it to your squash recipes. This organic nutmeg is a 10/10 This will be a constant in my pantry.

I'd been wanting to try Whole Nutmeg for some time now but found it to be too pricey most places. A lot of professional chefs recommend using it in both Savory %26 Sweet dishes so that has piqued my curiosity. When I opened the bag I could immediately smell the freshness of the whole pieces of Nutmeg. They look flawless %26 smell great. I also appreciated the long expiration date on the bag which helps this be a worthy purchase that will last a long time as one wouldn't likely use this every day. I plan to start including it in both my meat %26 vegetable dishes as it's supposed to lend a real flavor boost.

These whole nutmegs are perfect. Uniform size, rich brown color, and very fragrant. I use a microplane to grate them fresh into oatmeal, baking recipes, and drinks. You can really taste the difference!
