This shovel lived up to my expectations. The solid wood handle is stout and comfortable in my hands. the steel blade is high quality coated thick steel. It resists damage from driveway and sidewalk usage. Snow slides effortlessly off the coated steel. I am pleased and the cost was wirth the price.

Worth the money
I have had several aluminum snow shovels and they don't seem to hold up well on rough concrete and asphalt, with the blade wearing away quickly, especially in the center due to the pressure exerted there by the handle. Steel shovels last longer, and this one is the beefiest I've found. That said, it is noticeably heavier than the other steel bladed shovels I've had, so if you need to do a lot of lifting or throwing of snow, you might find this one giving you a work out.

I love that it was available and shipped quickly in the middle of bad weather. Put it to work immediately. It is metal and wood great quality.

Best shovel ever, tough, gets right down and clears it like a breeze!!!

Value comparable to price
this shovel works good enough. easy to put together. you may have to use a drill to ease the screws in attaching the base to the arm of the shovel. fairly simple. it took me about 5 minutes to put the shovel together. lightweight, worth its price.

The shovel is sturdy and handles.with ease. One suggestion: it comes with two screws in the handle but they don't align with the holes to be placed in. i had to get the necessary holes drilled. Holes should be provided for assembling.

Not great/not terrible
I would recommend With caution… The handle and the holes drilled in the base are not lined up correctly so the two options become either use the screws and put the handle on crooked, or re-drill the holes in the proper location before our assembly.

SELLER DOES NOT RESPOND!!
The shovel itself is fine. However the shipping was not great. It arrived a week late and when I tried to contact the seller on two different occasions I DID NOT get any response what so ever. So that's why I'm leaving this review.
