I really like the smell of the vanilla shampoo as they lean towards vanilla scents. for the price point, it's an excellent buy. The packaging caught my eye and the shampoo itself did really well at hydrating my hair. i haven't tried the matching conditioner, but it will be my next purchase.

This shampoo smells so very good. It left my hair so shiny and healthy, I'm fighting over it with my daughters. My hair is stronger, I'm having less breakage, less frizz, and overall, just more better hair days. I absolutely suggest you buy this. TRUE Shampoo is a hair-game game changer.

The True Vanilla Coconut shampoo is a good hydrating shampoo choice that is free from harsh ingredients and help hair look clean, moisturized and healthy. The shampoo is clear and once applied easy to distribute throughout the hair evenly. What I think it is lacking is a nice amount of lather, it is more like a clear watery gel that doesn't foam much. It also smells more in the bottle than when using it. I miss the luxurious experience, even though the product is satisfactory.

This shampoo certainly leaves my hair feeling soft and clean. Even just after rinsing, my hair feels so soft as if I already used conditioner. The vanilla & coconut scent is lovely and definitely noticeable when dispensed. After the initial scent burst I dont notice it much while washing but once I'm done and put my hair up in a towel, once I take it back out of the towel I get another burst of scent. It's not overwhelming but it's nice. However, the shampoo seems thinner than the kind I usually use (a budget brand, nothing fancy). It also doesn't seem to lather or spread/cover as well. I have to either use 3x as much as my usual brand, or double wash (which still means using more product, and more time). I will say that when double washing, it lathers tremendously during the second wash though. It's a nice shampoo, but I'm on the fence about whether it's worth having to use that much extra product or having to do a double wash.

I received a sample of True vanilla and coconut shampoo to try from hometesterclub. The pump bottle made using it very convenient. It lathered up nicely and has a great scent that isn't too over powering. It did an okay job with cleaning, I just wish I had the conditioner to try with it to get the full hydrating effect. Over a nice shampoo with a great scent that I would definitely recommend.

Overall I had a positive experience. My first impression was the clear appearance of the shampoo I personally associate it with a deeper and more effective cleanse. When applying it, I did notice that it felt a little heavy on my hair at first, but quickly worked into a rich leather, which i really liked. A little goes a long way, and the amount of foam it produces made it feel it was thoroughly cleansing my hair. The scent was another standout feature, very cocount-forward made washing my hair more enjoyable. I also really appreciate the packaging clean/minimalistic design that looks great in my bathroom and feels modern and simple. One small downside is that it was a little harder to fully rinse out compared to other shampoos. However once I was done showering, my hair felt very clean.

This shampoo cleansed my hair well while also having a great scent to it. I do like my products to smell stronger, but this definitely gave me the coconut and vanilla vibes that I usually go for! Only con was that it was slightly drying to my hair, rather than moisturizing.

I had a really positive experience overall with this shampoo. The branding is eye-catching and clean though similar to other products on the market. I would love to see a unique pop to help stand out on the shelf. In terms of performance, my hair felt hydrated, soft and was noticeably shiny after use. The scent mixture is well-balanced and a great combination but slightly artificial smelling which I personally gravitate towards a more natural and fresh scent which would elevate this for me. Overall I enjoyed how my hair felt using this product and would enjoy trying other scents!

This smells incredible, and is a very clean product. However I have curly hair that is prone to dryness and frizz, and this shampoo seems to make my hair a bit drier than it already is. I think this product would be awesome as a clarifying shampoo, or for individuals with naturally smooth/silky hair.

I really wanted to love this shampoo because the scent is amazing, it smells like a tropical vacation. It also has a really satisfying lather, which made it feel like it was doing a great job at cleansing my hair. My hair is bleached with vivid color. Because this shampoo is sulfate-free, it did not strip my color at all. Unfortunately, I didn't find this moisturizing at all. My hair actually felt pretty dry and tangled after shampooing, and I had to really rake my conditioner through just to get it manageable again. It might work better for other hair types, but for me it just didn't deliver on the hydration it promises.
