just what I needed for my application.

I really like the product so far. While it took a little more time with the installation than I had expected, it was not a difficult process. I have not yet drven in the rain so I can't speak fully to how "water tight" the cover will be. However, it meets and exceeds my expecations otherwise.
Installed the Deuce-2 cover in a little over one hour. My 2016 Colorado has factory plastic caps over the box sides so the back aluminum structural piece that sits over the tail gate inside the rear sleeve of the cover was a little bit too wide. It was easy to remove and shorten by about 1/8 inch, which made it close correctly. I also had the vendor send me a set of clamps that fit in the back stake pockets so that they were farther back than the smaller clamps that came with the unit and need to sit farther forward. This was minor extra work but the fit was a bit better after these two improvements. I love the cover and drove from western Oregon to Arizona this past February. The cover sealed well, letting in a little dust as we drove off road in the desert as would be expected. I plan to put a little weather stripping on the sides of the tail gate where the dust came in. Having the ability to open the front to remove luggage or get in the cooler is great. Very easy to use and the need to unlatch the back in order to close the tailgate is no problem. Highly recommend this design and make. Make sure and loosen the side tension adjusters when you first install the cover and tighten a later in warm weather to get a nice taut fabric.
Instructions were hard for me to figure out ... I was thankful we have Youtube to see how it all goes together. Once it was installed everything made sense and it looked simple. Love the way this cover looks and the way it rolls up and secures with the built in straps
The duece tonneau is great. Tight fit and low profile gives it a clean look. Took me and a friend a little over an hour to put it in. It's been raining like crazy and my bed has stayed pretty dry. At 80 on the highway with the rear window down no flapping noises. The bonus is my Ram is getting about 3 more miles to the gallon around town. Shouts out to the folks at real truck!!!
The cover was fairly easy to install by myself. Took about 1 1/2 hours after all the tweaking to get the cover the right tension. My only concern is when I release the front portion of the cover one side seems to stick so you have to walk around the truck and push the release on otherside. In the same vein when you close it I have to pull the cover release into the hold position or else it does not latch. Otherwise I really like this cover and the front hatch is really a great help when getting things out of the bed.
Cover works great so far, love it opens front or roll up from the back Only real negative I can say is that the rubber wipers on the side rails need to be wider, they are about a 1/16” and it's very difficult to get them to sit on top of the bed rail
Fairly easy to install once you figure out the secret to installing the rail clamps, instructions could be better. Front opening panel is very convenient but somewhat heavy. Annoyed that unlike my previous Truxedo cover, I can't close this one with the tailgate down. The rain seal gets pushed in front of the tailgate, rendering it much less effective. This means every time you open the tailgate you have to unlatch the rear of the cover, then re-latch it after closing the tailgate. A minor problem but still annoying.
Installation wasn't terrible but as the others have said, terrible instructions. Quality is OK as well. The front does not open nearly as easy as you'd think. On mine in particular, it is near impossible to open from the driver's side. I've greased the bars, handles, still nothing great. There isn't ever going to be perfect tension either. The wind still looks like it wants to rip it off no matter how many times you can adjust it. The weather stripping doesn't stay on even after thoroughly cleaning the sticking points either which I plan to take advantage of the warranty for. Water does get in going through car washes which is expected and no problem. I've had this about 2 months. I'd buy again but not with the expectations I had on it last time. It does look great, easy to roll up from the back, very sturdy feeling, and latches very well.
