I really like this product. I purchased specifically because you can open from cab side. Very nice feature. I have had a button down cover for 5 years and though this cover does not seal out water as well it still does a great job in normal weather, only during touch less car washes does some water seep in around pivot points and at the cab side off the bed. No big deal for me but for some this may be a deal breaker. Upon receipt of product one of the rail seals was missing, I let realtruck know, Sent some pictures and they worked with supplier and had replacement seal within a 5 or 6 days. I only give ease of instalation a 4 because the rail clamps are a pain to install. Need 3 hands to hold them in place, hold rail, and hold ratchet to tighten it down. One person can do this just a little more frustrating. Recommend a second set of hands. Cover looks great and self tension feature works great, perfectly set out of box. Overall great top, easy to roll up and close, easy to open the front. Just ensure the locking mechanism for the front latch mechanism is out of way. Mine was half locked to the point where it seemed like the opening mech wasn't working properly, after adjustment works like a charm.

I am 63 years old and installed the cover by myself. It took probably an hour, but i was IN no hurry. I did find the paper instructions somewhat confusing but located the installation video on the internet and it was easy. The cover is very well made, looks great and works great. We needed a cover before a trip. I do have to say the pictures provided were a smidge confusing--I did get it figured out up to the part of putting the vinyl on. It was hard to find a video for my style of truck, most the videos showed the rails flat not angled like they ended up being on mine. I did eventually find a video for my truck and we had it right all along. We did not have any troubles with anyone messing with the cover while we were in the city so it has worked out really well.

I really like the product so far. While it took a little more time with the installation than I had expected, it was not a difficult process. I have not yet drven in the rain so I can't speak fully to how "water tight" the cover will be. However, it meets and exceeds my expecations otherwise.

Great quality tonneau cover which functions great once you get it all together. Craftsmanship was great but the instructions left you with a big headache ( some of the pictures were terrible making it unclear as to what goes where ). A real head scratcher was the packaging. The box was probably at least 8 ft long - because the rails were packaged fully extended ! They could have chopped about 3 ft off the length of the box just by folding the rails in half ( which they're designed to do ) saving a lot in damaged claims ( which happened to me a few years ago on this very same cover ). And yes, I thought that much of this product to buy another one for my second truck ! Rant aside, you can't go wrong with this cover as long as you keep in mind the issues I had......

The cover was fairly easy to install by myself. Took about 1 1/2 hours after all the tweaking to get the cover the right tension. My only concern is when I release the front portion of the cover one side seems to stick so you have to walk around the truck and push the release on otherside. In the same vein when you close it I have to pull the cover release into the hold position or else it does not latch. Otherwise I really like this cover and the front hatch is really a great help when getting things out of the bed.

I was very satisfied with the professionalism I received on the telephone, when I placed my order. I then called before installing the cover and spoke to your engineering department, regarding some questions I had on the installation of the cover, after reviewing your instruction sheets. Again, extremely helpful. I did however, find the installation instructions a bit confusing. Total install time was about 40 minutes. I have washed the truck twice since the cover has been installed and I have not yet seen any water in the bed. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Although the end result came out OK, the fit was poor and required customization. After a couple trips to the local hardware store, we were finally able to get it in properly. In addition, the installation instructions could use some work! Now that it is finally installed, I like the cover.
