It's surprisingly pretty decent
Decent sound, comfortable cushions around ear, mic is crisp. Beware though, it ships through USPS, and they have a habit of cramming things in the mailbox, it ships in a plastic bag, so hope for the best, as there is very little packing around it to keep it from crunching in transit. This plugs into either a phone or console system, and with a little bit of construction a computer, the usb powers the glowy stuff, the 3.5 is the sound and mic. pretty cool for phones and such, IMO...

No box, heavy cord
First, it doesn't come in a box, it simply comes in a bag! So there is no indication as to chat it is. Kind of makes it hard for gift giving. This item is neat with the iChat, but it has a thick heavy cord that makes it hard to move around freely when it is attached.
