I am using this for my canon g7 mark ii and it works like a charm. The canon software was NOT working for my pc. I have a regular pc and canon ig just seems to think everyone has Mac. The software acts wonky or not at all if it's not a Mac so yea. This works thank GOD.

Allows you to upload files at some decent speeds worked with my iPad with adapter if your PC didn't come out with specific ports it probably would be something that would be of use to you otherwise you may not want to spend the money.

I got this reader so I could use micro SD cards as a thumb drive. I also wanted to be able to do this with, as well for any SD cards when I need to. It works quite easily as a bridge drive, when I need to transfer files between cards. That is, from a reader/writer on the laptop, to this reader/writer, via USB. It also works fine on the desktop computer,

My daughter wanted an “old school” camera for her birthday, they are making a comeback. This is the easiest device to transfer the videos and photos to my computer. Not sure how long this product will last but it's great for now.

I knew not expect a lot considering the price, but once again I was fooled by the pictures. This thing feels cheap in your hands, if I get 6 months of use out this I'll be shocked. I wasn't able to transfer files from sd card to usb, because depending which one I put in first, that would be the only drive that would show, that was the main reason i got it, to transfer files from sd and usb. Spend a little more money and get something more durable.

It doesn't work at all. It lights up like it's working but I've tried to plug it into my phone and my iPad and neither works. It's not the SD card because it works in my camera and in a different card reader for an iPhone port. I want a refund.

Tried this with a couple devices. The USB port did kinda work, but it fryed both a SD and TF card trying to use it. I guess I'm one of this unlucky ones with this. Too bad, since it's a handy design, and quite compact.

wiped my sd cards and lost all of my photos. camera and computer cannot read cards used with this sd reader.

The videos on my dash cam SD card couldn't be played anymore. i had to format it. I tried to open the file twice with a different device each time worked perfectly fine then used this usb and couldn't open the file no more.
